Mines the Cleveland Browns logo...because I'm from Cleveland and don't know any better.

Go Browns!

Hey, at least they don't have the Indianapolis Colt's record, which is 0 - 6 right now. They're my favorite team. They seemed to have fallen apart without Peyton Manning leading the way.............  Crying

A friend at work and a modeler himself, owns the forward fuselage of an F-4 Phantom he picked up from the bone yard and restored it.  He brought it out to the base for the unit Christmas party last year and let everyone interested sit in the cockpit for pictures.   That's me in front and the wife in the backseat.  He was with the St Louis ANG but now with my Reserve unit.

Lol.....actually they weren't that bad, they just bit off more than they could chew. As for being a saint, I helped 'guide' them through adolescence so I may qualify. Neither had any interest in plastic, but both actually could do the other kind. The oldest has a 3 1/2 year old daughter who loves to work with her hands so I'm going to work on her.

I'm sure the 3 1/2 year-old calls you "Grandpa', too, right? I hope so.....

She sure does.......you're talking to one proud grampa here Yes Cool

Me, circa 2000 in front of the house I now live in. At the time I was visiting a friend (who is now my wife) and her daughters, then 9 and 11, wanted to braid my hair. I said ok, and after about an hour and a half they gave up. My wife's sister, who's a hairdresser and also happened to be there that day finished the job. Can't remember how many braids she eventually put in, but I took it out after two weeks. The hair's much shorter now, and no longer on my face.

Wow! You're a braver man than me, letting pre-teen girls braid your hair. No wonder the lady married you - you must have the patience of a saint! Do the girlsmodel now (the plastic kind, not as a profession)?

Krow T. Robot, a character from one of my all-time favorite TV shows.

Mystery Science Theater 3000!!! I haven't seen that show in many, many years. Krow was my favorite character as well. What channel is showing it nowadays?

Mine is a pic of me at an intact German battery in Normandy. Mrs & I went to a greenhouse show in Amsterdam and she said if we're going to Europe she wanted to see Paris and I said if we're going to France I want to see the Normandy beaches. We spent 3 days in Amsterdam, 4 in Paris and the balance of our 2 week trip touring around Normandy. The best part for me was that our hotel was right on Juno beach overlooking the remains of the Mulberry harbour. After we got home she says she would love to return and just go directly to Normandy...I'm in!

RCAF roundel - my grandfather was in the air force (during WW2 actually, before we added the maple leaf) and I blame him! credit him with my interest in models, history and unexpected one-liners. Also proud to fly the colours so to speak.

mine's a picture i took of "Aluminum Overcast" on her stopover at the local airport a couple of years ago.  My Dad's father flew the B-17F out of Bury St. Edmunds England during WWII.  He was a member of the "Lucky ***'s Club" completing more than 40 missions flying with the 332nd Bomb Squadron, 94th Bomb Group.  Ended up flying, and have some pictures of him with, aircraft such as "Idiot's Delight", "Twats it to you", and "Friday the 13th".  Guess that's where my love of flying and career choices have come from!

Peace through superior firepower.

My avatar is a Zaku, the grunt mobile suit from the original "Gundam" TV show.  The Zaku is my all time favorite design from the series; always was and always will be.  Down with the Earth Federation.  Zakus rule.

1/32 scale white metal figures of Hans Rudel and his German Shepard dog. Came as a 'bonus' with the first 1000 Hasegawa "Kanonenvogel" Stuka kits.

I modified the dog to look like my mutt 'Clyde'.

I left Clyde to live with the ex. One of the biggest regrets of my life as he was the best companion and friend I have ever had. Knowing he is getting up in age I am sad to think of 'the phone call' one day.

The rivers and mountains we explored together are now hard to count, happy to of had him along I know he had a excellent life and lives with the fond memories.

A outdoor photograph in the fall speaks of my love for the seasons.

My avatar is the main character of the anime of the same name, Porco Rosso. Its one of my favorite anime films and involves aircraft. A sequel is due soon with him fighting in the Spanish Civil War. If you are not familiar with the anime movie, Porco was a WWI seaplane fighter pilot for the Italians, The post war politics were not to his liking and he left the Regia Aeronautica to become a mercenary pilot fighting seaplane pirates in the Adriatic. His porcine appearance comes from a self curse where he declares that "I rather be a pig than a fascist".

I also wear a fedora, have a moustache, wear sunglasses and need to shed a few pounds as well.
