I switched the orientation because the avatar is on the left.
I'm thinking something has this…

Futenma ? i was at Camp Butler in 83-84 ! Mine is my pic while at NCO school MCAS Yuma ...1980..

Well Gary,,,  I wish I had some sort of interesting story behind mine,,,  but  ,,, ,,,    Mine is a pic of one of my favorite builds. It's called "Flak 30, Russia 1943".....   I built it about 20+ years ago.   

I should probably update,,,, one of these days

I've seen some very interesting, albeit strange, avatars in the forums, and would love to hear the background stories/ reasonings behind them.

Mine is a picture of me taken by my oldest son (Marine Air Traffic Controller at MCAS Futenma) about an hour before his wedding in Okinawa in April 2008. Probably the best picture ever taken of me, and he took it as a candid shot. I just happened to turn around, and blam!! He got me with his trusty Canon digital SLR. I liked it so much that here it is. At least you all know how ugly (or is the modern term "fugly" nowadays?) I am now!!!
