To change mine I PMd Aarron. He made the change for me.
I created mine back when I was jumping out of perfectly good airplanes in flight for Uncle Sam. A group of jumpers is called a stick. The last man out the door who "pushes" all the other jumpers out ahead of him is called the "stick pusher". In my LRS unit I was usually assigned as the stick pusher for my team on drops. When I first came online and needed a screen name I dropped the "c" and started using it on the various sites and email which I used, including here, that needed a screen name. I had also tried a variation of"wind dummy" (not here), the first guy out the door who is used to check wind directions, but didnt keep that one... Since I rarely had lead man door position.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Electric Blues Anyone know how I can change my screen name?
Way back when I registered,I thought I was just creating a user name for customer service, hence the very bland anthony2779.I didnt know I had actually signed up for the forum. So I was stuck with what I had.In fact I didnt start posting until 2006,even though I had registered back in 2003.
So I just kept what I had
Bought a plastic model of the Hughes HK-1 Hercules the day I signed up on FSM
It was a nickname when i was a teenager. Not original granted but my other nickname "boy mountain" seemed awkward as a screen name. ;)

heh, mine came after watching Top Gun for the first time. I wanted to have an awesome call sign too, so I found an on-line call sign generator, and got "owl". I liked the ring of "call sign owl" and decided to keep it. Now its my screen name for all of my online stuff (which isn't much, but still)

Now that I'm here, where am I??
Mine's phonetic because I'm too old and dim to create anything else. And I use it on all the forums (there aren't that many) I post on.
Well awright... I got lucky - my first name wasn't taken yet, so Paweł it is! Boring... Wonder how long this thread is going to live? Anyhow, have a nice day, everybody!

Well, I figured since I was asking about avatars, might as well get the low-down on the screen names, too. There are some really interesting/freaky/makes-no-sense-at-all screen names out there, and I would love to hear the background on them.
So, starting with mine:
I was in the Marines for 11.5 years, and, for some reason, the Finescale website wouldn't let me choose what I had originally wanted (garydmason - my first name, middle initial, and last name all together), so I thought long and hard about another one I could use (ok, so it was actually about 5 seconds.........), and came up with one that reflected a bit of my past. I had actually chosen "Devil Dog" (one of the Marines three more popular nicknames), but that one was already taken, so I made a slight change to it. Living in Georgia as a former Marine helped determine which part to change, especially since the University Of Georgia ain't too far from me.......... For those who don't know much about college mascots (and I'm one of them), the University Of Georgia's mascot is the Bulldog (which is also the Marine mascot), and UofG's football team is popularly known as the Dawgs. I know - boring.
