#1)  M36 Slugger.  Decent Armor great gun for it's tier and I get really good match maker results with it.  60% win rate over 500 battles in this great TD.

#2)  IS3 another great tank with good balance of power and a decent gun

#4)  T-62A  A beast on the battlefield

Tim, click on the Contacts button at the bottom of the garage screen.  Switch to the Find Contacts tab, and enter the name you want to search for.  Select the name you want, and click the Add Contact button at the bottom of the window.

It`s taken me what seems like forever to get this far...think I`ve been at it since last March. It`s tough going up against guys that are "buying" their tanks and all the other stuff but understand why it`s that way...sure makes me want to get a premium account but $99 bucks???

Anyway....we definately should all list our WoT names and hook up to platoon or company battle...should be fun!

I've played almost 9000 battles now and have grown accustomed to the camo AKA "cloaking" mechanism.  There are a lot of variables that go into a tank's visibility factor and It can be frustrating at times.  I've never understood how the house/car/tree is fully visible but the King Tiger sitting next to it isn't.  I guess that's the part of the WOT that is more game and less sim.

I can't tell you the number of times that I've gotten an opposing tank down to less than 50 hp's and then repeated shots in the flank hit for no damage or bounce off.

Besides it's flaws, I still love it.  Hang in there it gets easier.

I've seen you on there troubelemaker66, I play as joeynobody.  Don't have a premium account, just makes upgrading slower -but the game is fun, so I don't mind.  have a IS-3, T-50, T34-85, and a AMX75 that I hate.  No Artys and SPGs though.

What is this cloaking device I keep hearing?  I only play allied, usually light tanks.  All I have ever seen is a camo net for 1 mil.  Nothing to research either.

The equipment can keep you "cloaked" for a few seconds longer and sometimes they have to get really close to spot ya. There`s also equipment that will help you detect a tank quicker and keep `em lit up a little longer than usual...not sure how long you stay visible once you fire your gun but I would bet it`s close to 10 seconds. Hope this helped...lol...

The term for that is "Invisitank"...gotta trip over him to see him. Some TD`s can see really far, especially if he bought the coated optics in the equipment section. SPG`s are very far-sighted too...nothin` like getting one-shot-ed from an invisitank or arty...scared my wife more than once when I screamed at my laptop....

So..  my super speedy go kart light tank you aint  (<--for the grammer thread ) never gonna catch one hit blow up tank ...(breath)  can not see these ninja tanks when I go by?  Oh... I see where you said you can see them if you get close enough...  ok never mind.  At this point its gonna be easier to hit post then delete.  (its closer to the mouse cursor.)

PS  lol at my kamaze medals..  which you should have if you have a light tank... 

they say "Destroy a higher-tier enemy vehicle by ramming it. Once per battle"   umm i have never seen a kamakaze do it twice....

I lost my temper a few times at arty drivers...they just pizz me off with their long range nonsense...be a man and get a real tank you$&#@!$!

Ripcord: I wouldn't think a light would have too much trouble with artillery if you keep moving fast and erratically. Yeah I'll pot-shot lights with my inviso-tank but I prefer to wait till some heavy comes rolling along in the open all big and bad, noting can hurt me, and then BLAM!

I haven't encountered hackers... yet. But, of course, they could also be using gold ammo... i don't know why so many other users complain about it... as said earlier, if you can't beat em, join em! Chromdome35 decided to show me a tier X battle in my Ram II, I have to say i've never felt so small, what was funny was i was the only tank left, i was too afraid to move out of cover!
