Yes, yes it has.
I had a dime store ray gun when I was a kid that threw sparks inside. Those good old toys; the ray guns, the M-16s (I grew up during Viet Nam) or the made in Taiwan metal planes that cut you before you even got them home. I'll take the 70s.
