I have a lot of hobbies that I haven't been doing lately.  I am getting back into D&D, and my wife and daughter are getting into it as well.

I draw, but not as much as I used too. Something that's garnered a lot of my attention recently is dogs. Id like to get into dog sports and showing.

Now that I'm here, where am I??

I currently enjoy hiking and rock hounding. I am also getting interested in model rocketry. Another hobby I enjoyed when I was younger and look to get back into.

Flying (turned my hobby into a job which was a mistake) and watching porn in all forms.

You often hear wood working, but hardly ever metal machining. What do you make, Bick?

Amateur astronomy (though I used to teach it), older computers, maritime writing and art. The latter two are more vocations and callings than hobbies...

Cheers,

Rob

My daily driver is a moderately lifted Jeep Cherokee with winch, floodlights, biggish tires, and a few other accessories. I'll spend the odd weekend exploring the mountains in northern Colorado with it. Actually heading up there Sunday.

Also do a lot of free lance writing, but trying to turn that from a hobby into a profession.

I enjoy wargames and jigsaw puzzles.  Gives me something to do while the paint dries.

I'm new here and I noticed there are some hardcore and talented modelers that post in this form.  I imagine most of you have been modelers most of your life.  Not me!  I started stamp collecting when I was 8 years old.  It's been a hobby of mine for most of my life.  I'm now 47.  I first started modeling when I was twelve.  I continued modeling until I joined the US Navy at 18.  For the next 6 years my hobby was chasing women and drinking beer.  I got back into modeling for a couple years during the mid 90's.  I collected comic books in the late 90's and Nascar die-cast in the early 2000's.  I started homebrewing 8 years ago and plan to continue, just not as much.  Now I'm jumping back into modeling.  If I had half the money I spent now, I'd be retired.  Anyways...
