Никто не Забыт (No one is Forgotten)Ничто не Забыто (Nothing is Forgotten)
roony I think you guys have been forgetting "Twelve O'clock High". I also enjoy "Wings", it's a silent movie but great shots, and a good twist to the end.

Well I don't see why not. I may have to change my favorite to Star Wars: A New Hope.
Battleground, The Longest Day, They Were Expendable, SPR, Battle of Britian, Midway, Battle of the Bulge, Bridges of Toko Ri, Apocolyse Now, A Bridge Too Far, are my top 10.
Does star wars count?
flyerdukebut I think my favorite is Midway.
The problem with Midway was the extensive use of archival footage made continuity a little inconsistent. Often you had a particular character climbing into one type of aircraft, taking off in another and landing in yet another. The final climactic "crash on deck" scene utilised well-known crash footage of an F9F Panther that the producers insisted on using because "it looked cool".
Despite the dodgy SFX of the period, I'll drop a vote for The Dam Busters"

There are a lot of good ones, but I think my favorite is Midway. Followed closely by Tora, Tora, Tora and Apocalypse Now. I'm sure that there are many more that are better, but I find these enjoyable to watch over and over.
