The History of Biggin Hill
Posted by BlackSheepTwoOneFour on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 10:00 AM

While I was looking for info on a particular Spitfire and Biggin Hill squadron, I came across this site. We all know that Biggin Hill is a famous Spitfire base during WW2 and the Battle of Britain. (Tangmere is the other). I had spent 3-4 days pouring over this site learning all about the history of Biggin Hill through the years.

When I get my chance to go to England and London one day, Biggin Hill is gonna be on my itinerary. LOL!

Here's the link on Biggin Hill:

Very cool site.  I like that picture of the house, now and then, morphed together.

On the bench:  Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build.  Yes, still.
