OK the Bob Ross coloring book would be great for several people I know Geeked

My sister was a little sad that I already had the P-51 and the F-18, but I told her not to worry since I can always do a different scheme with it.  And I really need to get more of the Bandai Star Wars kits.

S-Bob,

Very Nice Haul there!! The Star War Snow Speeder is one I have been really wanting. Hopefully you'll do a thread on those.

Hubby got me the Iwata HP-CS airbrush, and a gift card to Hobby Lobby.  I landed up just buying some supplies there.  I had a few gift cards for Amazon, so I ordered some supplies, and two kits.  A Revell 1/72 SR-71, and 1/48 AH-1W Super Cobra.  Then I ordered the Minicraft 1/144 C-130 Gunship "Azrael", and Italeri's 1/48 V-22 Osprey.  I'm also going to make a trip to the LHS tomorrow.  See if he has anything new.

Wife and kid got me the Trumpeter 1/32 F6F-3 Hellcat and several books from Squadron (during a sale where the prices were $4/book) covering the Hellcat, Corsair, B-29, F-102, F-105, He111 and the MiG-15.

I also got money from the wife and dad that I am deliberating how to spend - I need some equipment for my laptop, like a new mouse and USB tower, but I'm also looking at WingNut Wings' Sopwith Camel and Tamiya's 1/48 F-14 ... decisions, decisions ...

No matter what you do..... no matter how hard you try..... you will never get a USB tower or mouse to look as good as WingNut's  Sopwith Camel.

Buy the kit !           Buy the kit !        Buy the kit !

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Hey Hunter, Merry Christmas,

My wife is also working a 36 for EMS through tomorrow, so we had Christmas on Saturday.  I scored well and have the house to myself for a few days.

My father was a plank owner on CV16 after it was modernized, so I'm in the process of building all three generations of the carrier. Low and behold, I was granted the Dragon kit from Santa.

Also got a new set of needles for my airbrush, a much needed airbrush stand, and a whole mess of paints I needed replenished. (She intercepted my supply order I made back in November).

Hodakamax, your story reminds me of my local RC club meeting that was held right after Christmas.  All the members were showing off their new kits, engines, radios, and other goodies and all I had to show was a tie (Mickey Mouse!) and a pair of socks.  At least I won the door prize, a bottle of glue. I was in my final year of college and just starting a family, so the needs outwieght the hobby, but it was a fun time with a swell group of folks.

Wow Scott that was a great gift from Santa!! Maybe you'll do a thread on that build??Big Smile

My family tried something different this year- each person got one member to shop for and a dollar amount limit we could spend on that person, as well as an online place where we could list our gift wishes, Elfster. Sort of like a Secret Santa thing with a twist.

My elf (daughter) got me a couple DVDs off my list...

and since I do a lot of cycling, a nice insulated sports water bottle larger than the one that I currently use... which was not insulted... that will be nice once the warm weather returns.

In addition to these gifts, I picked up a couple kits that I had been wanting off eBay.

Both were bargains compared to previous searches for these kits and the Viggen was even still sealed in shrink wrap!!!

I got a nice haul.  I received a Trumpeter S 51 self propelled gun  the brand new Menu Panther Aust A, with their zimmerit decals.  It looks good.  I also got a new Menu Lepord 2A5 and a Bronco Sdkfz 221 with PzB41.  I must have been good.

Very nice haul there Carlos...you got everything covered. Entertainment, Hydration and Hobby...definitely a nice haul. You are really going to like the Hydro Flask, the wife and I use those when we go backpacking. They do a great job at keeping things cold and hot.

Great hauls guys!

And congrads on the cool stuff SP. Including the '80 version of 'The Thing'. I laugh off most horror movies but that one scares the ever-loving Censored outta me...
