That's is great news Armor! Now that you have a job keep looking and you'll fine something better. The fact that your working with teens keep the wories off yourself and puts your energy towards others. This not only helps you feel better but it helps others learn a new hobby and keeps them off the streets. We were made to help others. That's why giving feels better than receiving.

Continue to keep us posetd.

I want to thank everyone for the prayers and comments it really help me get to this point.

Now THATS the right attitude sir, stay positive, handle ONE thing at a time. Take time to figure out what YOU need, hit that mark and move forward.

You may have set backs but they will pass with a clear mind and eyes on the prize. Keep your goals real for now and know you may fall short. IT IS OK! Your human with a very large wrench in the mix.

As mentioned sbove you have friends here. I know I sound harsh but truth be told we're both grown men and I try only to speak the truth. HANG IN THERE. P. S. Good job with the liberary gig sounds like fun.

Armor,

I just ran across this thread and I'm glad things are slowly getting better for you. That's great that the library is willing to give you some space to build and teach the young folks. Maybe this can somehow morph into a new job, you never know how things connect until you look back at them.
Please keep us posted, you have friends here that are intrested in you.

I know the people at the library where I'm at they sorta know my situation. I was talking to one of them about it like building military tanks .They said if I would be willing to display them there an maybe help a few misguided kids get involed.they might be able to set up a place for me . I told them I got about 20 models and the supplies to do it .We will see what happens.

All I'm gonna say this is shaping up to be a postive  life lesson that I'll remember for a long time to come. B

GMorrison

OK so this is shaping up not to be a complete disaster, maybe just a major one.

Chin up!

Believe me I'm a whole lot stronger now than I was when this started. This is a life lesson I will not soon forget.

Hey Armor,

We are all wishing you well.

If I was in your shoes, and have been close a few times, I'd go find a Catholic Church and knock on the door of the rectory.

They probably have a job for you that provides a place to stay and something to do.

That's my denomination, but where ever you go, there's more of us with wounds trying to make it through life than we all can cop to.

Check in when you can.

Armor,

I am truely sorry for the position you are currently in. I echo what has already been said...but it will get better. You need to commit yourself to prayer...daily. No matter what it maybe...turn it over to the man upstairs. I have done it for years...and through his grace and forgiveness I have had a great life. Yes, I have had loss in my life...but it was prayers and talking to the "Main Man" that got me through it, and helped me understand it clearly.

I will ask my church to pray for you also. God speed on your journey.

Hi, Armor -

This time in your life is a lot for anyone to handle, but with effort on your part and help from anywhere you can find it, will lead you to better times. Not for me to advise, but I urge you not to turn to alcohol or anything else, that might seem to bring relief.

Please reach out to any assistance available, city, county, state, anything. As was said, if you're a vet go see the VA. Somewhere there is a place, or person, that will give whatever help that can be offered.

Any time you allow toward thinking about what led to this troubling period is wasted, and even more hurtful. Any time and effort you commit to positive things, like finding work or relocation, can only hasten your ability to climb out of this dark place.

Since you have a car, please make sure when you're driving that it's properly licensed AND INSURED. Don't take the chance to end up with a legal jam, over something like that. Avoid anything that could lead to further complication.

I wish you all the best, and hope for good times coming in this New Year. If you feel like it, check in with us and let us know how it's going, we all care.

Patrick

Are you still breathing? Are you being fed by the grace of others? I truly pray you are safe and warm, however if you answered yes to one or both of the above questions then YOUR STILL IN THE FIGHT PAL! NEVER NEVER give up NEVER NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF! You didn't make it 60 plus years 'cause you were stupid NO hard work and preserverance! I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND were you are coming from and will pray for a better tomorrow for you. Please DO NOT take me as insensative, quite the oppisite. ANY ONE OF US could be where you are at ANY MOMENT. The only one who can make it right is YOU. If you need help GET IT! If you need to chat PM me, you will be ok. Just gonna take alittle more effort to plough through.  Have faith Armor,  if ya don't yet try it.

You're welcome, I wish I could do more. I understand about the head spinning. It happened to me during both my divorces, but like everyone else has said and from experience, forget the ex and concentrate on you. Take care of yourself, put your head down and power thru. Also, remember to ask for help from the Man up stairs. Believe me prayer works. We're all praying for you and pulling for you.

Daddyman

I understand your desire to leave Ohio especially under the circumstances. You didn't say where in Ohio you are, but if you're still looking for a job, my employer has one position open in Columbus(Grove City) and two in Cleveland(Independence) for technicians. We do mail presorting, so you would be working on sorting machines. Lots of belts and bearings. Also printers, high speed cameras and computers. Go to www.pb.com. Look under jobs or careers, I'm not really sure which, and type in the position and location.

If you're totally set on leaving Ohio, good luck and more power to you. That old car may get you farther than you think. We'll be praying for you.

I was leaving probably about 12 miles from you actually about 5 miles west of

Darbydale Ohio. Thanks for the job info not sure what I'm doing yet head is still spinning.lol!!!

Armor

First off, consider yourself lucky for the wife dropping you. When the times get tough both in a mariage are there to help each other out, not to bail out when the ship gets hit. I remember when my first wife left me when I was going thru some HORRIBLE times . I actually felt relieved and blessed when she left. It felt like 500 lbs. of dead weight came off my chest!

As others said, you will survive and come out better on top of things. Have faith and give the man upstairs a good shout for help, he has always heard me.

Pack what you have and move to a new place away from the past. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to stay positive and fight depression away.

Wishing you all the best, stay positive friend.

I agree with everyone, You will bounce back and there are good days ahead. Many, many here have beed down, I have,  and in time it got better. Pray and have faith if you are so inclined. I know I and many others will pray for you and that together there is strength. Look forward in hope, not back and best luck. God Bless,
