Yes, a rogue otter somehow made it into the Sun Yat-Sen Garden koi pond and has been eating the prized fish. No one knows if Madonna, the 50 year old matriarch of the pond, has survived. The tragedy is tearing the city apart, with citizens choosing Team Otter or Team Koi. Will riots be next?

On the feel good side...A business owner in Portland is loaning his motorhome to a woman, 2 kids and a grandchild that lost everything in the Paradise fire. She is a teacher/counseler. Is sending it down full of supplies for them and others.
Guess he has been talking to her on a daily basis since learning of what she is going through. Like a lot of others in CA.
