I'm sorry to hear about your illness Toshi. I concur the others sentiments as it just hasn't been the same around here without you, especially since I'm familiar with all the places you reference. I'm glad your on the mend my friend. I'm not sure if your aware, but I'm a stone's throw away from you if you ever need anything.

Toshi, my friend, it has literally not been the same forum without your upbeat presence. Most gratified and relieved to hear your loved ones are doing well, and that you yourself are 'soldiering on' in the face of what I hope will be only temporary setbacks. You and yours are very much in the thoughts and prayers of we friends -- even unmet -- whose days have been brightened over the years by your gracious words and shared experiences.

All best wishes for continued progress in your recovery!

Greg

Hi, Toshi -

Well, what a relief to see you back here, I was concerned and missing your daily posts about you, Mrs. Toshi and Ezra. Although, I am sorry to learn of your arm issue and the bout with newmonia. (I won't even try to spell it the right way.)

Looking forward to seeing some building efforts when you get back at the bench, I'll bet Ezra is wanting to get going again too.

Knowing that Mrs. Toshi is doing so well, is the best outcome that all of us members could have hoped for. The dear lady has gone through so much and for so long, it was time for her to have something good happen.

My best to all of your family, please keep us posted on your progress.

Patrick

What a relief Toshi!  So happy you and the missus are OK.  That made my week for good news - and it’s so hard to come by these days!

Get well and stay healhty and “negative”!

Thank you Real G, good news is a difficult and most sought after commodity.  I highly agree.  Yes, being negative in this case is a good thing!  Lol

DasBeav

It's great to hear from you,Toshi!

I am sad to hear you are going through more troubles. But just like all the other times, you will get through this. You are a fighter.

That's great news that Mrs. Toshi is doing well. Not hearing from you had many of us concerned.

Looking forward to you and Ezra's next build, hopefully soon.

Get well my friend!! Hearing from you will make me sleep easier tonight.

P.S. Saved me a stamp...was sending you a card tomorrow!!LOL!

Mrs. Toshi‘s recovery was nothing short of a miracle and thanks to all FSM members prayers, it was heard and received.  Ezra and I still have the B-25 to finish and when I feel better that will be our goal.  The only stamp I’d like you to send me is the inverted US Air Mail Curtis Jenny.  Lol!

2nd. bout of pneumonia

To my fellow FSM forum members,

Thank you for taking the time out for not only thinking of me and my family but for reaching out and contacting me during these difficult and almost apocalyptic times.  At the end of last year I contracted a bad cold that led to pneumonia and a stay at University Hospitals in Ravenna, Ohio.

Upon returning home, I noticed extreme pain in my right shoulder emanating down to my elbow, the kind of pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy grew each day until it made my use of it moot.  My neurologist said it was due to my injury and TBI.  Several weeks ago I noticed a recognizable illness and thought to myself “Pneumonia“?

Or worse yet was this Covid19?  Upon registration I was tested negative and went through yet again a slew of antibiotics and finally released early this week.  Fatigue and breathing are just a few things that plague me now. I can’t get therapy for my arm due to social distancing and lockdown.  So I resort to Hatha Yoga and some simple stretching.

As for Mrs. Toshi, she is just fine and dandy.  She is Tumor free and seizure free.  Ezra is getting bigger, taller, and smarter each day and never ceases to surprises us.  All I know is I shall overcome and persevere and will win in the end.

Your Friend,

Toshi
