I recognize a few people over on SPAModeler, and some here are also on Brit modeler.  I registered on SPA, just in case this one goes down, but haven't got into it yet.

I'm like HooYah, absolutely no social media for me.  The 4-5 forums I'm on are enough, and I only check those on a weekly basis.

While I think it's a good idea, I'm with Wilbur .  .  .  I don't do facebook, face time, instagram, tweet, or frankly speaking, any other 'social media' platform outside of several varied forums.

My U.S. security clearance eligibility prevents my use of such blatently 'exposable' data. Yes, I know that 'they' are already recording everything i say on my phone, and follow every search I do online, thus that is enough access already.

"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"

If the forum does fold, it would be good to be able to be able to hang with this group of people-been here for a while and although my production numbers aren't great, I do enjoy the banter, knowledge, skills and models displayed here.

Is there a common forum or forums that most of the other FSM members are members of also?  If so, then it might be worth joining those forums....just in case....

I'm not on Facebook, and don't want to be.

Hello!

Such a database might be cool - but I wouldn't want to take it to the facebook, I don't like it. How about linkedin? :-)

Have a nice day

LinkedIn is really more for business & professional networking, than for hobbies and releated social activity.  Some people do treat it as "business Facebook", but their content just clutters the site up.

Some of us are friends on Facebook, maybe someone could set up a Facebook groupopen only to forum members?

Wilbur Wright

Have any of the long timers on here thought of creating some sort of voluntary data base in order to contact each other if this forum folds?  We get up some day and this is just no longer here.  Some of us have been here for 15-20 years.  May be something to consider.
