Ah, remember when concert tickets cost $20-25?
AW Man! What a great performance to go to for your first concert. I was a junior in high school that year.

I think I was a freshman in HS. I went for Marshall Tucker because I was into southern rock but Journey and The Cars blew me away. Thin Lizzy was great as well. Great show. cheap and included admission to the fair!

I find that bench music depends on what random whim I'm feeling at the time. I listen to just about any genre of music, but typical bench music includes:
Steely Dan or Pink Floyd. Sometimes it's older stuff from student days, such as Drivin' and Cryin'. Or during the summer months, I often lean toward stuff like Texas Tornados or Stevie Ray Vaughan, stuff I used to listen to at BBQs back home. I also like what my wife calls "lounge music," usually Diana Krall or Bossa Nova stuff like João Gilberto or Stan Getz. But whatever it is, it's usually full albums start-to-finish, since often it's how they were intended to be enjoyed...back before "streaming" was an option!

but the ER said it was a poisonous thing.
I guess that's why I threw up green,
and inside that green there were chunks of green.

Jordan Peterson's Biblical Series podcasts, episode 12. This first series looks at the Book of Exodus, and the panel he has gathered to discuss is made up of some very insightful authors and scholars.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
As always and no where else, listening to 99.9 oldies on Tune in.
The very best music daily and extra super on Sunday from noon 'till 3pm.
More Peterson this morning, interview with reporter Miranda Devine:

I test software for a living, so I listen to the radio, podcasts, music, etc, as I run applications.

I have been listening to manyof my old favorites;
Mainly rock and country from the sixties with a wee bit of "Hooked on Classics" thrown in. Plus a lot of film music concerning things like themes from "20,000 leagues Under the Sea"
My tastes are all over the place. I like a lot of the themes from "Victory at Sea" and such as well. Movie themes like "Tora,Tora,Tora" and "Titanic" the Movie!
Cool, T-B. Thanks for your input.
