Stay safe Pawel, and I sincerely pray that this thing going on does not completely blow up into the surrounding neighborhood.  My thoughts go out to the people of Ukraine.

Hey Pawel, I am thinking of you. Both my parents and a few aunts and uncles were born and lived in Poland during Nazi occupation. Both my parents were in Nazi work camps.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Praying for peace.

Thanks a lot for your kind words, friends and let's remember I have it so much better still than the poor Ukrainians, I mostly mean the civilians. Take care

Thoughts & prayers go out to you Pawel.  Your country has suffered so badly throughout history.  Take care & stay safe.

As to fuel prices, ours are going to take a big jump, even though very little if any comes from the region.  Some is due to other countries paying more per barrel, and some from flat out greed.

Along with everyone else, wish you the best, and keep your head down.

Tough to watch and I can't imagine living next door to it all.  Stay safe Pawel.

Thanks,

John

There's much I could write here about the invasion.  We all have our own opinions but I rather not express them here.  Our hobbies let us escape the horrors of the world.  Stay safe Pawel.

Hello!

I'm transmitting from Poznań, western Poland. Here I am, for forty years I got used to world without war nearby - and it doesn't take long to get used to a good thing.

And today morning I start reading about the Kiev airport being shot at... Antonov plant being captured by the airborne - that just plain sucks.

Three hours ago I thought maybe I should fill the tank of my car up, just to avoid paying more, as the oil prices are already going up... Looks like I'm not the only one with that idea - the lines at the gas stations already start forming.

So it's a sad day - and I wanted to let you know how quick things can change for the worse. One thing for sure - we're cursed with living in very interesting times! Let's hope for the best and prepare... Thanks for reading and take care
