armor-aircraft: more posts?
Posted by dubix88 on Friday, November 28, 2003 1:06 PM
HEY,
I just noticed that the armor forum has more poststhan the aircraft forum. As long as i can remember, the aircraft forum has always had moore posts. Just one of my observations.

My heart is with the Navy but I wanted to see my kids grow up, the Army is always playing in the cold, rain, and mud. So I jioned the Air Force to stay warm and dry and play with my kids.
Ships bring to mind the North Atlantic.
Armor reminds me of mud.
Auto brings to mind busted knuckles filled with grease from an over tightened rusty nut.
AirCraft bring to mind a nice warm Ops Room with plenty of hot coffee.
Gee wonder why I hang out more in the Air portion of the forum......

I have actually observed that the Armour Forum has closed the gap a bit on the Aircraft Forum, it used to be nearly 3 to 2 in the number of posts.

Ron - better get posting .... I'm catching up with the Auto Forum Wink [;)]Wink [;)]Wink [;)]

shermanfreak slow down? LOL!!

(a parody on a certain commercial...)

Robert arrives at a party, spies his wife across the room and starts heading toward her. Along the way people notice Robert and ask...

"Robert, did you lose some weight?"
"No", replies Robert.
"Robert, did you get a hair cut?"
"No", replies Robert.
"Robert, new suit?"
"No", replies Robert.
"Robert, new job?"
"No", replies Robert.
"Robert, new glasses?"
"No", replies Robert.
"Robert, have you been working out?"
"No", replies Robert.

Robert finally reaches his wife and she asks with a smile, "Robert, have you been posting on the forums again?"
"Yes", exclaims Robert.

I don't think I'll catch you guys in the Auto Forum. You've been getting more and more members joining that are strictly car builders. Which I think is great, helps to keep the balance around here. But keep an eye on that rear view mirror of yours ..... that's me thundering along behind you.

I shudder when I think of 285...or Georgia 400, for that matter...

At least all you have to do is think about 400 Brian. I live 2 miles from the end of it and have to drive it everyday, if I make it through the 17 miles of vehichles playing frogger across it I then get to sit in the 17 miles of traffic just to get to 285.

True. That's one thing I certainly don't miss about Georgia!

I have driven on a lot of roads, through a lot of cities and towns. The worst has to be I-10 through Houston. Bumper to bumper traffic traveling at 85 MPH. Cars, trucks, SUV's and motorcycles weaving from lane to lane, without giving a signal. I hit it at rush hour and by the time I got through Houston, I found a motel with a bar. I needed something to calm me down.Shock [:O]Shock [:O]Shock [:O]Shock [:O]
