ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!  With respect, of course.

I nominate the lovely young Ms. Beckinsale for Official Pin-up of the $229 MOJO's.

Can't take me anywhere.

From what I've seen, you don't need anyone to hold your hand.

Mike

Thanks for the compliment.

I dont have anyone to hold my hand so I'm sticking to diecast. But if say i was allowed to model and i needed to take some time my system is right next to my workbench so at the moment i've been having a round or two of world of tanks but normally I'd check mail, check forums etc .

Manstein's revenge

 MAJ Mike:

I try to find someone to hold my hand while I attempt to translate the instructions to my latest Dragon kit.

Chuckle----I believe that deserves another "Cat Head"...

Danke, Herr Feldmarshall.

You know, I'm really trying to be good after yesterday.

Sprue-ce Goose

The posts on confusing Dragon instructions seem to indicate that deciphering kit instructions would be the next step.

However, i don't own a Dragon kit, so I either set the kit aside and start another or break for one of my other projects.

Yeah, I use the time to decipher Dragon instructions...

Angry Birds [http://chrome.angrybirds.com]

I’m kidding. It’s the other way around, I’ve been ‘off’ modeling for about two weeks due to that persistent distraction, ‘life’ (plus some extremely annoying allergies). AND IT’S BUGGING ME! I need to put some brass tube-artillery on a half-track…

Just curious, you will be in this position often enough, what do you do when you must pause the work, because the model can't progress till some glue up or some paint work dries?

Me, I have my desktop nearby (this is the laptop btw), it functions as a TV sort of. I tend to watch a lot of video content (for health reasons I can't sit at the table long anyway). I like science history features and well just about anything is possible I guess. I will have something on in the background and it permits me to just get up and sit in the lazyboy and watch the show for a bit while the legs stretch out and the glue/paint dries.
