Finding it difficult to be interested.

Hey guys. Not sure how many of you have encountered this, but recently with everything thats been going on (grandfather passing away, heavy workload, earthquakes etc) ive been finding it really hard to be interested in modelling anymore. I get home in the evening, clean the kitchen up, have dinner, sit at my desk with a part built model and i find myself making excuses not to advance like "oh i dont have the right tools for that" or "I need to buy some paint to finish that" The frustrating thing is its a tamiya 48 scale corsair. damn near a shake n bake.
Is this common? Or should i pack my gear up and take a break for a while?
