I would guess from talking with people on here that it is one of those 5%-90%-5% deals
5% post that they would only build Hasegawa/Tamiya/Fujimi/etc,,,,,,,,,,5% call those same kits "Shake-n-Bake" and would only build Revell/Monogram,,,,,,,and the 90% in the middle will build Revell, Fujimi or Starfix kits if they come in Shakers/Resin/Vac/mainstream injection or limited Run injection
I know I don't "get" the "anti this or that" deal,,,,,in my collection, if I want an XF5U, it is going to be Hasegawa, and if I want an F8F it is either the Monogram or the newer Sword kit (it is both in my case, too many decals to be too picky)
I do wonder if any of the people that consider a 1/72 Hasegawa Tomcat kit to be a "Shake-n-Bake" have ever really figured out just how long to shake the darned things,,,,,,,it must be a pretty long while, lol
