I've got so many I juggle with, so many half done.  But the one I'm focusing on is:

- Aoshima Toyota Hilux Double Cab High Lift

I'm modifying it to fit on a Losi 4x4 Trail Trekker chassis AND fit on the model chassis.  This requires making a fake floor  that'll hold the seats/dash/doors in place when the body is fitted on the RC chassis while being able to fit on top of the original floor for display on the Aoshima chassis.  I just can't bring myself to throwing a complete chassis in the parts bin.

I may also work on my Monogram Aston Martin DB4 for our local IPMS Big Mouth competition (pre-70's European sports cars) but I'll need to decide if the kit's worth restricting to OOB.

Hey ,DON !

Funny you should be working on a LINK trainer .My landlady knows what they are .She was at the time an instructor operator of one of these and three other more sophisticated ones at her NAVAL assignments .She would put the trainees through their paces in an S-2-F trainer and an F-4-J trainer too ! The LINK was more of a ," so you think you can fly " ? trainer  In her eyes .  If the guys couldn't master the LINK first  , they went to the back of the line . How's that for a little factoid ? Now she also stated that she only did this to those guys who were so cocky they thought they knew it all . Seems flying the LINK was harder than they thought . Shoot , the flight school I went to after military service used a LINK to see if you had what it would take to qualify to fly .      Tanker-Builder     P.S. As far as what's on the bench ,cleaning up the U.S.S. NORTH CAROLINA , painting a 1/96 scale U.S.S. KIDD . Oh and you remember LINDBERG ? Well , I couldn't resist . I am doing a cutaway of the Coast Guard Patrol Boat and one non cutaway version with lift off sections for the engine room , crews quarters and galley as well as the wheelhouse and radio room . These to get away from the other stuff , mainly a set of FRUILMODEL ,tracks , Done at last ! Done at last ! Whew ! whatta job that was .

G'Day Mate !

I have at present seven ships and one armor vehicle on the bench . In various states of being built .I took close up photos of the U.S.S. NORTH CAROLINA and boy, was I miffed ! They say the camera don't lie . Well  ,my Optical Orbs Mk 1 & 2 sure did ! I thought she looked great .Now after removing ALL the P.E. and sanding many spots she is beginning to look better ! So , that PLUS my client's ships are all that's going on right now .I sure miss your great land . You Take care .    Tanker - Builder

I have a little group build going on at my desk,,,,,,I build in 1/72, so all of my builds are Little Builds, hah

There is a Hellcat, a Phantom,,,,,and 4 different toolings of Skyhawk,,,,,one Skyhawk and one Phantom are supposed to be for FSM group builds, but, I didn't snap pics of them as I went along,,,,,and they are at the primer stage of painting now

The Skyhawks are half of a set of all the toolings in 1/72 over the years, to compare them and show once and for all that certain kits are NOT based on other kits,,,,,,,,it will include one new Airfix kit built with the tail and nose fixed to have a correct A-4B shape and size (after the Jan. show in Chattanooga, I will post what old kit I used as a "correction set" for that nose, lol)

After making a mess out of my Thud, I decided to change pace and started the Revell 1/48 Apache Helo last night.  I built one years ago and loved it. I lost it after my then 5 year old former stepson thought it could fly and threw it across the front lawn.  lol.

Might as well add a couple more I have on stash;

1/48th scale Hawker Typhoon Mk.I - Hasegawa (that's a Christmas gift I'm getting this year)

Yesterday, I picked up an old 1/72nd scale Supermarine S.6B by Airfix. This kit is dated 1973 on the package. Got it for $4.

I also have a 1/48th scale De Havilland Mosquito kit (Tamiya) on hold until after the holidays at my LHS.

Wow, it's been a while since I've built anything. I keep wanting to but just haven't gotten started. Right now, I have an AFV Stuart M3A3 that has been sitting there since June 2012. I have a half dozen AM kits that go with it and the tank itself is about 3/4 of the way done. First medical problems held me back. Then basement renovations kept me from working on it. Now, I'm better physically and the renovations are done. I have no more excuses and just need to get with it.

I'm currently in the final stages of Moebius Models The Dark Knight Rises Catwoman with Bat-Pod in 1/18 scale. Having built the Tumbler from Moebius just before that I think I'll try something completely different for a change...once I finish the Bat-Pod...and build a car. I haven't built any car models in years. I don't know which one I'll build. I've added a bunch to my stash over the past few months.

Current project(s): Hobby Boss: 1/72 F9F-2 Panther

                                  Midwest Products: Skiff(wood model)

This is a cool little thread that I forgot all about. Right now I'm working on a  Revell 56 Ford F-100 from the Street Demons series that was released in the 80's.

Here's the kit:

The '56 F100 is one of my short-list all-time favorite hot rod templates. The others would be the '57 Nomad and the '41 Willys

At the moment, nothing. I just completed the 1/72 Eduard Grumman Hellcat F6F-3. So, right now the bench and work area is under going rehab. You know, a thorough cleaning and reorganizing in preparation for the next project.

So, what's on deck for the next endeavor? I will be pulling a 1/48 Tamiya P-47D off the shelf that I had started a few years back. I met with a complete Alclad disaster on the fuselage and in despair I had set it aside. Rather than going into a complete paint stripping escapade, I obtained a second kit from which I will build the cockpit, fuselage and wings. All other parts are completed from the previous build.

Currently I have Dragon 1/700 USS Ingraham and USS Pegasus, 1/700 USS Cole and Italeri 1/720 Admiral Kuznetsov. I haven't been able to work on them lately with work and migranes, but I hope to work on them some this week...hopefully.
