I'd like to see small scale sailing ship models.  Airfix and Heller used to have lines of very nice sailing warships in 1:600.  Academy did a 1:350 Cutty Sark a couple of years ago- that was quite nice.  The big 1:96 scale stuff fills my display space too quickly- I need more smaller kits, but the junk from Lindberg and those old repops of others in the small scale just don't quite make the grade in quality.

My simple goal was to build everything I was on or in while being in the service. My builds are just glue and spray, nothing like what you folks do. Anyway, I got the 105 towed, 155 towed, 175 SP, Jeep. 3/4 ton, Huey, APC,, Chinook. The two I am missing are the 2 1/2 and 5 ton cargo trucks of the right era.

A number Army Viet Nam scans from hundreds yet to be done:

Have had the great fortune to be on every side of the howitzers.

I whole hardily agree with you Tanker except I would want any and all Fleet Support Ships from the 60's thru the 80's all in 1/350 scale.

I would really like to see a Sacramento class AOE

Knox class Frigate (injection molded) 1/350 scale

Harpers Ferry Class or San Antonio Class LSD 1/350 scale

I just got my latest issue of FineScale yesterday, with the results of FSM's poll on kits we'd like to see.  I see that other sci-fi builders agreed with me that we'd like to see an injection-molded kit of Serenity, enough that that was the No. 1 selection in that category.

I also see that my perennial suggestion of a 1/48 B-32 Dominator matches that of other modelers.  It made the list of the top 5 in 1/48.  The Dominator is also one that Braille-scale builders would like to see (no pun intended).

My 1/700 CV-1 and CV-4 didn't make the cut, though, nor did my 1/48 C-46.

Hopefully I'll be getting the mag pretty soon so I can check that list out.

Here is what I am wondering:  I would be quite happy to see a reissued 1/72 Revell/Mongram B-52 like I had as a kid, and a reissued 1/72 XB-70 Valkyrie from AMT Ertl.  I keep thinking these will be coming out again and I won't be forced into over paying on eBay.

I'm just kind of curious to other opinions.

I haven't been able to find one, maybe one did exsist at one point in time, other than the Anigrand kit, I'm not sure.  I would like to see a 1/72 KC-10 Extender.  It's in my list of seen in person aircraft that I would like to build.

Aircraft in Miniature make a KC-10, Hannants has 'em in stock, but they are not inexpensive nor for the faint of heart. Would be cool to see one built up thoughBig Smile

Don't give up on finding the old Monogram kit on the second-hand market.  I agree, many examples on eBay are offered for prices that are pretty steep, but if you keep looking, I think you may find one for a reasonable price.  For me, I'd go up to $25, if I were in the market for it.

Revell made one in 1/144 scale, might be kind of hard to find, and Welsh Models has one in 1/144 scale as well, that is listed as avaliable. Hasegawa also made a KC-10 in 1/200 scale; they released it a few times with different decal options, but don't know how difficult it is to find one now.
