Aircraft in Miniature make a KC-10, Hannants has 'em in stock, but they are not inexpensive nor for the faint of heart. Would be cool to see one built up thoughBig Smile

Indifferent Yep that is way out of budget, lol.

Revell made one in 1/144 scale, might be kind of hard to find, and Welsh Models has one in 1/144 scale as well, that is listed as avaliable. Hasegawa also made a KC-10 in 1/200 scale; they released it a few times with different decal options, but don't know how difficult it is to find one now.

Here is what I am wondering:  I would be quite happy to see a reissued 1/72 Revell/Mongram B-52 like I had as a kid, and a reissued 1/72 XB-70 Valkyrie from AMT Ertl.  I keep thinking these will be coming out again and I won't be forced into over paying on eBay.

I'm just kind of curious to other opinions.

Don't give up on finding the old Monogram kit on the second-hand market.  I agree, many examples on eBay are offered for prices that are pretty steep, but if you keep looking, I think you may find one for a reasonable price.  For me, I'd go up to $25, if I were in the market for it.

I haven't been able to find one, maybe one did exsist at one point in time, other than the Anigrand kit, I'm not sure.  I would like to see a 1/72 KC-10 Extender.  It's in my list of seen in person aircraft that I would like to build.

Hopefully I'll be getting the mag pretty soon so I can check that list out.

I just got my latest issue of FineScale yesterday, with the results of FSM's poll on kits we'd like to see.  I see that other sci-fi builders agreed with me that we'd like to see an injection-molded kit of Serenity, enough that that was the No. 1 selection in that category.

I also see that my perennial suggestion of a 1/48 B-32 Dominator matches that of other modelers.  It made the list of the top 5 in 1/48.  The Dominator is also one that Braille-scale builders would like to see (no pun intended).

My 1/700 CV-1 and CV-4 didn't make the cut, though, nor did my 1/48 C-46.

I whole hardily agree with you Tanker except I would want any and all Fleet Support Ships from the 60's thru the 80's all in 1/350 scale.

I would really like to see a Sacramento class AOE

Knox class Frigate (injection molded) 1/350 scale

Harpers Ferry Class or San Antonio Class LSD 1/350 scale

My simple goal was to build everything I was on or in while being in the service. My builds are just glue and spray, nothing like what you folks do. Anyway, I got the 105 towed, 155 towed, 175 SP, Jeep. 3/4 ton, Huey, APC,, Chinook. The two I am missing are the 2 1/2 and 5 ton cargo trucks of the right era.

I'd like to see small scale sailing ship models.  Airfix and Heller used to have lines of very nice sailing warships in 1:600.  Academy did a 1:350 Cutty Sark a couple of years ago- that was quite nice.  The big 1:96 scale stuff fills my display space too quickly- I need more smaller kits, but the junk from Lindberg and those old repops of others in the small scale just don't quite make the grade in quality.

While we're wishing, I'm always trying  to find the SAC version of the F-111 which had longer wings than the standard version. There are several nice 1/48 F-111 kits and it would just be a variation of those. I'm still researching.

What I'd like to see? Okay:

A retooled 1/48 scale F-106A from Revell with engraved panel lines and fix the way the main gear installs. For giggles, a 1/32 version would be nice, too.

A 1/72 scale F-106A from Tamiya, Revell, or Hasegawa that corrects the Hasegawa kit and fits better than the Meng kit. Revell did such a nice 1/72 F-101B I don't see why they couldn't do a Six.

An updated 1/72 B-52 from Revell with engraved panel lines. D, G or H is fine with an option for the 20mm Vulcan or not + options for every underwing weapons carried by specific versions i.e. SRAM, AGM-86's, Hound Dog, GBU-15, Harpoons. (Yes, certain units flying the D were equipped with GBU-15 in the late 70's/early 80's. And a G carrying 12 Harpoons would be awesome!)

An updated 1/72 B-1B from Revell. A scaled down version of their 1/48 kit with the SRAM's and fuel tank would be great.

A re-release of the Revell Yacht America. (1/72 scale?)

Airfield support equipment for USAF, USN, and USMC aircraft from 60's to 90's in the three major scales.

Yeah, that about covers it.

Doesn't the F-111C have the longer wings that you are looking for? There are a few of these in 48 scale.

1/48 scale Spitfire Floatplane.

I know you can find them in 1/72 scale and I do believe there is one in 1/32 scale.

How about this :

Why don't they come out with a full range of boats in 1/72 ? I mean the Patrol Torpedo boats . British , but American too , and Russian and Chinese . From W.W. 2 to the " Perkasa" Types and a few newer ones .

The main point in all ? Keep them decent on detail with total affordability for the modelers who want them .     T.B.

It'd be nice to see Tamiya explore the 1/144 line. Here's my list of what I would wanna see: (this list is not just limited to Tamiya)

1/144:

FA-50

Dassault Super Etendard

A new tool MiG-29, 25 and 31 (lets face it, Revell's Fulcrum was too short and stubby)

Su-33

Su-35S and Su-27M

Su-30MKI/M/SM/M2

YA-10B

Yak-141

J-10

J-31 (these two were Anigrand bonus kits, but then again, I don't want to spend two months worth of my allowance for these two)

Yak-38

New tool Phantoms!

Injection-molded F-16C/D Block 52+ and E/Fs

F-5A/B

THEY ARE THE PANZER ELITE

BORN TO COMPETE NEVER RETREAT!

GHOST DIVSION!

LIVING OR DEAD! ALWAYS AHEAD! FED BY YOUR DEAD!

How about a nice line of 1/35 Hueys and various other Choppers? I dont undestand why more are not made in this scale. I had to hunt for hours for a 1/35 Huey that I wanted to build for a Vietnam Dio. I found one, but the price nearly blew my head off. How about a reasonable line of 1/35 choppers at a fair price for all?

How about a 1/48 2.5 ton U.S. refueling truck with a hardtop (instead of the canvas top one they have now in 1/35)?...

Like this one?

Tamiya or not Tamiya really does not matter to me, but here goes...

F-11 Tiger 1/48

B-32 Dominator 1/48

P-63 King Cobra 1/48

F-82 Twin Mustang 1/48

B-47 Stratojet 1/48

Oh yeah definitely a 1/48 Twin Mustang. Now, imagine the sheer size of the tail on a 1/48 scale B-32!
