Missed this the other day.

Do you already know of "Model Cave" in Ypsi? GREAT shop, especially if you're into aircraft or ships. He does have a bit of everything though...armor seems to be the smallest selection of all.

You bet I do! It's kind of where I go just to look at kits, but always end up comig home with one...

I landed up with 2 of the bigger kits on my wish list.  The B-17G, and the C-54.  My mother in law likes to spoil me, and maybe secretly irritate her son in the process!

Hi;

I have that aircraft from at least three manufacturers , including that one , neat isn't it ?

The Two color plastic is not hard but must be totally computer controlled . As to mechanically done , the only time I've seen it before is in the PERKASA MTB by Hasegawa , I think . Large boat and two color hull .

Have a couple of ideals for a dio but it will be after I complete some builds that I have in progress. First....where to put it when I am done? Hmm

Wooo hoooo! Xmas gift just arrived.

NICE-  got your hands full for sure.  I started a thread on that kit in the aircraft page.  Nice link to another forum on a build of that one.  Make sure you do a WIP on her, you will have a lot of followers for sure.

Wirbelwind...where abouts in Michigan are you???

I'm just a bit north of Ann Arbor.

you know, I didn't even know there was a Bristol Brigand, I guess it's time to go the the internet again.

Nor did I...until I opened up the box.

I like it...has some Mossy/Beaufighter traits, but cooler.

I like your Neuschwanstein Castle too. blue my mind off.

Congratulations on the windfall.  If you don't have room for the 1/24 Bf-109, I can help you with that.Big Smile

Yeah, It's wingspan is huge, but, it comes with a stand which is nice. The figure is complete *** though.

Meh.... a wingspan on a 1/24 fighter isn't all that huge. I've got a 1/24 P-51 Mustang kit in my stash and that's not even that big. Now... take the newest 1/24 B-17 Fortress kit that's just out now with a whopping 39 inch wingspan. That, my friend is HUGE!

Wait............. there's a 1/24 B-17?

Actually it is 1/32.  Available in the "G" and the new one is an "E/F" version.  See the new product rundown video that is running now.

Now if they just spread out the deliveries so you get them one at a time with time to build between, you're set for the year.Big Smile

Wow, nice hauls guys!!!!

I have to wonder though, do you mean something you got as a gift or something you gifted yourself??? Wink

I picked up this at our Christmas IPMS club meeting:

Bought this as a gift for myself:

And have these on pre-order from HLJ. Ok, the US dollar is up against the yen right now so they were cheaper... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

I recieved this very nice Tamiya kit as a Secret Santa gift from a member of another forum that I belong to. The kit is the Tamiya Fi 156C in 1/48. I'm still trying, to figure out how they managed to mold clear and gray plastic on the same parts (fuselage halves):

The kit comes with markings for Hungarian, Italian and Swiss markings.
