To my fellow forum members, 

It's always the case that my last build would be or is my favorite build.  But the build you see below got some of the best reviews from forum members.  Hence I chose this particular aircraft.  Due to my work related accident (TBI), I have no knowledge of actually building this kit.

I don't even know what type of aircraft it is.  Please accept my appolagies.  For this, I do love my current build, a Tamiya 1/32 Mosquito.  I will post a photo of the current state of this build which will just be the cockpit.  Thank you all for everything especially your support.

That engine must be huge. I just goggled it and its not cheap either. You did a stunning job on that.

Pat, none completed yet as all still work in progress. currently finishing enclosing the torpedo bulges as they are actually hollow for the most part on the colorado before redoing the bulges on the arizona, pennsylvania, nevada & the oklahoma to do corrections on them. i'm also slowly getting the various medium guns from carl at 3d model parts like in about 400 20mm aa guns in 1/429 scale. i might be doing an arizona conversion to the new york for matt stein at model fleet but right now he has some computer issues he as to deal with 1st.

Hi.  They look great so far.  Can't wait to see them when they are done.  After seeing your posts on another board several months ago, I went out and bought a copy of the old Revell Arizona myself.  I built it once when I was younger and it was one of my favorite kits.  Its facinating seeing what you have been able to do with it.

This is by no means my best build but as the initial post suggests, this is my most sentimental build.  It's the Italeri 32nd scale Sabre with CanMilAir decals built to resemble the aircraft my uncle, Flying Officer Jean Guy Andre Cloutier #35151, was flying when he was killed in a flying accident while serving with the R.C.A.F. at 2 Wing, Grostenquin, France on 09 June 1953.  Only after I completed the build did I read the official R.C.A.F. Board of Inquiry file held at Collections Canada (formerly Library and Archives Canada) and learn that his aircraft wasn't carrying the long range drop tanks as the training mission he was flying was an hour in duration and therefore drop tanks would not be required due to the short duration flight.

Agreed Chuck, that is very nice. And good to see an American aircraft from WW1. I did not realise they did not carry the stars back then.

Here's my Wingnut Wings Salmson.  This was one of those rare builds (for me ) where everything seemed to click - probably why I consider it one of my favorites.

This isn't the best attempt at building a kit I ever did, and actually I still haven't finished it eventhough I started it several years ago because I'm still a little intimidated by photo etch parts and rigging, but it is the 1st model that I attempted in about 25 years (I think) and was what got me started back into model building, so it'll always be one of my favorites.

I had seen those posts about the old battleships conversions a few months ago while researching the old Revell Arizona kit.  They are incredible.   Do you have images of the completed builds?

I am going to post two... my favorite aircraft kit, and favoraite armor kit.

First up, my Academy 1/35 M4A3 with T-34 Calliope Rocket Launcher. From what I gather, the Sherman is Academy's and the rocket launcher assembly is Italeri's. The only after market I bought for it was a set of Kaizen tracks and duckbills to replicate what the actual vehicle had. I also did some extensive scratch building, including the wiring for the rocket launcher.This is a favorite because it turned out pretty much like th photo I used for reference.

The next is a recent one. Eduard 1/48 Bf109E-4 ProfiPACK edition. Excellent kit and my first successful aircraft kit... at least to me.

Since that I only have one build under my belt, it will have to be this one.
