I don't comment much on this thread, as I am concerned my jealousy will show through.  Devil  I do, however check it out every time I see a new post.  Nice hauls everyone.

We had a convention this weekend, and well....you know how that goes:

These are all used kits except the Airfix, and I am pretty pleased with what I was able to pick up.

Dwayne or Dman or just D.  All comments are welcome on my builds.

Chad, you are digging deep into the Airfix archives now.

John, that's a mean looking beast.

Another shipment arrived :)  Restock on Tamiya tape and trying some MIG products out on this cool Hasegawa kit - again influenced from Damaged (spring issue has the Zlin and this Hitachi double-front working machine)

Thanks,

John

John those two manufacturers are new to me too. The 442 looks pretty darn nice though.

A couple manufacturers I've never built.  Both look nice upon initial inspection though I've heard the Salvinos Jr kits have some accuracy issues.  The Zlin Z-50 is AZ Models - I was inspired by the bigger scale build in Damaged.

Thanks,

John

John - I've said it once and I'll say it again, you can never go wrong with another F4U Corsair kit. Good on ya'!

With that said, I just received my newest addition to my extensive Corsair stash. I've been needing a Commonwealth clipped Corsair to further complete my collection.

Guess I am getting back into armor now thanks to recent sales over at Sprue Brothers, Squadron and Dragon and a figure kit from E2046.

The King Tiger arrived today to join his Porsche cousin. The others came in over the last few days.

Having trained on the F-4 MB seats during AME school, I couldn't pass up this kit. The figure kit will be used in a planned dio with another liked dressed figure but as with the first one I'm working on, it will be painted in a full body suit one black this one maybe in a gloss cherry red suit.

A size comparison between the 1/10th and 1/48th seats.

Will have to try to figure out how to come up with all the data plate stencils for the seat. I'm hoping a Gru-7 in this scale is in the works

just aquired these two this week,  I want to try to the same thing to this corsair as is in the April edition of fine scale.   the A-wing fighters, well they are Ban Dai and just fantastic little models,  getting addicted to them.  40% off Hobby Lobby coupon is fueling it.

Hi, my name is Bobby and I have a Bandai problem....LOL!  Couldn't help myself.  The guy from Cultvman hooked me up.  The Tu-22and Hetzer were from other vendors.  Everything else was from Cutltvman.

Bobby,

Wow! If having an Bandai problem is a problem, then I want a Bandai problem too! Very nice haul!

That's a nice haul.  I especially like the super corsair.  I'll have to keep a watch for that one.

What's the deal with the missiles and bombs?  3d printed?  You're going to like that B-25.  I miss accurate miniatures

I believe they are side molded. In either case, it's a beautiful piece of engineering as there are no seams with this method. Stunning really.

No doubt about Accurate Miniatures. They certainly were a high water mark for kits in their day.

I've acquired a few sweet gems over the past few weeks.

First and foremost is a pair of these very nice 1/72 AMK Kfir IAI C2/C7's. First time I've picked up an AMK kit and a glance inside the box is quite impressive. The armament alone is extremely nice.

And then there are these wonderful additions:

See, this is why I only check this thread out every now and then. Now I need all of those Bandai kits, and since I've been on a bomber kick, I think I need that big Russian boy too. And the thought of lighting that EVA pod up fascinates me. I knew I should have stayed away from here. Smile

LOL!  I hear ya.  Those Bandai kits are very addicting!  (psst...Amazon and Culttvman have some good prices on them...just sayin').  Whistling

That is an amazing lot of kits you got yourself Bobby. Hours of enjoyment packed in there for you and the kids.

Thank you!  My son is a droid freak!  He literally knows them by name and can tell you in which movie they were in!!  I build them and he gets them in his room.  LOL!  He does help me with building them..that way he can say he did them too.  I got the Yoda for my daughter.  I think she wants to tackle that one by herself.  That's my girl!

The Backfire and Redstone are cool as well.

Thank you!  I have this thing for 1/72 bombers and after watching the review Aaron and Elizabeth did this week on the Horizon kit, I saw them (at Culttvman's table) and it was easy to talk me into one of them.  LOL!  They look really nice and it gives you the option for every capsule including some of the test ones.  I'm considering one of those!
