Mine was on September 11, 2004. I posted a question about how to keep small parts from flying across the room. I still haven't solved that problem. Stick out tongue

Okay, as long as I have been on this forum, I must admit I do not know how to find my oldest post.  How do I do that?  Is that the date that appears by my name, or is that date the date I first logged into the forum.

Too easy to tell... just look at the year they joined up. They may not have posted on the same exact day but the dates joined tells the story of how long everyone been a member here.

Nope. A lot of us had our dates rolled in one of the previous “upgrades”.

I don't understand this. I joined in December 2002 and made a post. It's still there and the date remains the same.

Looks like June 16, 2004 although it seems an odd first post. I remember signing up specifically to ask a question, but that first post is responding to a question.

Makes me wonder if there are older posts which are lost.

The join date under my avitar is different because I had to get my profile reset after one of the upgrades. Older posts are still attached to this profile but the join date changed.

My first post was  July 31 2012.

I did a quick post on Gregbale's MPC Deora surf adventure..... among other thing's I mentioned how it would look better if he got rid of the stock AMT tire's.

I didn't "officially" introduce myself untill Jan. 17 2013.

BTW:  A thankyou to all the member's who welcomed me way back then.

Now is that for your current handle or your previous one? You did use up one of your nine lives in here.

Aaronw, the old Odds & Ends section was vaporized by the mods here years ago. It was later replaced by the Ready Room forum. The old threads and posts from there are lost in Cyberspace...

3,770 posts ago on November 29, 2003. Sounds like a lot, but it's quite less than 1/day, and I was a lot less active until about six years ago.

Dec 02 is when the site was completly revamped and everyone had to re-register. The post count starts from then. My second post was commenting on the new look. I think i signed up to the old forum and may have had the odd post, but i didn't like the way it worked.

I think i first came onto the forum in 99 or 2000, when ever i first got a computer.

There are quite a few memebers, including a few active, who's join dates are Dec 02.

Interesting subject, thanks for posting this Keavdog.

First for me was introducing myself back on Nov 29, 2009. Funny TempestJohnny is the only member who welcomed me who still posts reguarly here.

Finally worked up enough guts to post finished models with a Tamiya 1/35th Cromwell and a Gavia 1/48th La-7 on Dec 19, 2009. Due to being on PhotoBucket the photos are locked off from linking. I guess I could transfer them to ImageShack but I still have both models so I suppose I could just retake them instead.
