Patrick! Again, thank you for your comments! I also worry about our up-coming youth. I'm also a biology oriented guy and the wife and I promote youth oriented educational wildlife field trips and lectures on our property. We have developed a wildlife area not only for wildlife, but for education even up to college level. My greatest memory of our efforts was when we took 30 5th graders seining in a small wetland. City kids in a workshop. The first dip brought up crawfish, tadpoles and fresh water shrimp and all the extras. Kids had mud on their faces and all emptied their water bottles to replace the contents with tadpoles, crawfish and such critters in this enviroment. The enthusiasm was unbelievable! Never have I been so satisfied with our effort. Never. They had never experienced this in their lives. We had made a difference.

Anyway,  It seems we both agree that educating youth, the new citizens and leaders, is necessary and fullfilling. Keep up the good work!

Here's a picture I promised of a Skyray on loan for the display. More views under Aircraft along with a short story. Check it out!

Big congrads to you and the better half for this Max! Great way to bring the hobby to the public.

And getting everything home with only minor damage is a nice bonus.

I somehow managed to miss your post during the display, Max.

Holy Cow did that end up nice! Seeing that in person would be enough to make me take up modeling, and I already am. Smile

What a nice display, that is an understatement. The bosses press release is way cool, the surprise second article is too, and whomever came up with the headline "Good News" deserves a reward. That is clever, and I don't see clever much in the printed news.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this adventure, Max.

Hey Greg! Thanks again for your interest! It was quite the adventure as you say. A person we've known for years called today telling us that he saw the display and read each and every information card. He had no idea that I build models and was also suprised at the history of the aircraft. Another good report.

Always good hearing from you on the Forum, you seem to be a good sport and modeler, I must say!
