Oh boy, this looks awesome. I bet it's easily a $150 kit, which is a bit out of reach for me.

Can be found for around 125-130, but you have shipping on top of that, so yeah.  Gave 150 for mine at LHS.

Got the Airscale pit set coming for it.

Not I, too big for my limited display space.  But I think those who want to build it will have fun, and I look forward to seeing your builds.

Silver, everything you build seems to have fit issues that nobody else encounters or says anything about and you never have pictorial evidence!

I have this kit and even though not started can not believe that Airfix would put an expensive flagship product on the market with 'major fit issues'.

I think that either you are just a rotten builder, don't understand the aim or the instructions or just plain inept!

Time you left the hobby and started collecting train numbers!!!

come to think of it, Silver, aren't you the guy who complained abot HK's 1/32 Lancaster having major fit issues with the fuselage? I think that my I depth build thread in the Aircraft Forum has shown that this is not the case.

so, if this Hellcat has fit issues please post pictures and put a picture where your mouth is!

No picture, no proof!

I will definitely build this kit as soon as someone makes some aftermarket decals for it. I don’t find the kit choices that appealing. How about McCampbell‘s dash 5?
