Lets see your stash!
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 20, 2004 2:27 PM
It seems that my capacity for buying models is much larger than my ability to actually build them at the same rate. as such, I now realize that I MUST NOT buy any more for a while Wink [;)]... unless I see something that I just must have of course!
So, heres my stash, dont tell my girlfriend, ok?Tongue [:P]
lets see yours!

Oddly enough, I can't take just one picture...the stash won't fit. Bear in mind that these pictures do not include all of my AM parts and supplies...

Here is my humble stash, a little bit of everything. You can’t see all the kits at the top or to the right, the kits below have to be removed to reach them.

Well, I just moved, and my stash is still all in moving boxes.

The good thing is that the kits are (almost) all in uniform size boxes about 2.5 x 2 x 1.5ft. The bad(?) thing is that I only had six of those boxes. The rest are scattered or otherwise wouldn't fit, but I'm sure I could fill at least another three.

Someday (yeah right) I'll get around to doing an inventory. Or, maybe even completing a few.

May an Angel be your wingman, and the Sun be always at your six

I don't think I'll bother showing a pic of my meager collection. At the moment it is 2 whole kits (That's right TWO). They are a 1/48 Academy F-14 Tomcat and a 1/350 Academy Titanic. I might be starting a new job soon so I'll be adding to my stash.

Yeesh, now I feel like I've been rummaging through your closets!

Thanks for the looks, fellas.

I have about 100 or so unbuilts here in Japan, and another 200 or so back in the States.
And I'll build every one of 'em, too!
Someday!

I have about 200 unbuilt kits right now. But with 912 built, I guess I've got a good ratio of built:unbuilt kits going. I have five more projects in progress on the bench as well. I don't have a digicam capable of getting a pic of everything though.

OMG Robert! Can I move in? Big Smile [:D] That is serious! My modestly growing collection is up to 24. Included is my growing wingie collection. I'm taking advantage of any sale that has a kit that I know I will turn my attention to in the future. I don't believe in paying retail if I know I can get it on sale.

I'm donating some kits to the Baghdad Hobby Club for Christmas, along with some enamel paints that I no longer use too.

Geez, I feel so... inadequate!!!!!

Although in all fairness, I just got back into modelling in May and my stash is up to six and I have built six with two more on the bench almost complete. Two of those have been in my closet for over 15 years. So lets see, that makes 12 models in the past 6 months. Hmmm... give me a couple more years and I'll catch up to the rest of you styrene hoardering freaks!!

Yeah, I'm pretty junior as far kit counts go. I've got a bout a dozen kits in the basement. The problem is I really only want to build maybe 4-5 of them.
