well theres a reason they are in the stash!Big Smile [:D]
The Ju 52 is from last year (before I came completely to the darkside)
and the Hadrian intersted me Last sommer for the Dday GB. I started Scratchbuilding the interior but I stopped and started build sdkfz 10/5, I was much more happier with that!
The B-26 was givin to me for free from a friend, a couple of weeks after I got one (not pictured) for Christmas.
I cant wait to fing some time for the Italeri Tiger. I was looking at it and it doesnt seem so bad.

If it is anything like their Sturmtiger, the front hull ought to keep the putty flowing. Actually it was a decent kit, just a bit of work. it turned out nice IMHO.

I actually had to re organize the basement 3 months ago and counted the kits at the time. Almost 350 of them, all airplane.
The hobby shop called yesterday, they were checking to see if I had a certain airplane in stock still.

After seeing some of these photos, I don't feel so bad about my comparatively small backlog. But it's all relative to the speed at which one builds; I'm slow, so it's a daunting backlog to me. Those currently awaiting the completion of my Pro Modeler 1/72 Bf 109G-10 are:

Tamiya 1/72 Aichi Seiran
Airfix 1/72 Arado Ar196A-3
Airfix 1/72 Westland Whirlwind H.A.S. Mk22
Airfix 1/144 Boeing 707-420
Revell 1/144 Airbus A320
Revell 1/144 Concorde
Revell 1/144 Boeing 747-400 (half finished, in limbo 8 yrs!)

and, not likely to ever be built, because of decision to go with 1/72:
Monogram 1/48 SBD Dauntless, P51D Mustang & TBF Avenger

May I offer (moral) support to you all and your groaning shelves! Ha ha.

According to my always-handy spreadsheets, I have 65 not finished+not started kits. I was really starting to think that I had a lot (as was my fiance') until i stumbled upon this thread. Wow. I can only aspire of having as many kits as some of you here.

Well, compared to some, it's a modest collection, but it will keep me busy for quite some time.

I finally got down to the basement with the digital camera.

Clearly I need to build a little faster!

Wow...looks like I have some competition!! Bow [bow]

I promise...a photo or two when everything arrives from New Jersey. Last count was about 600 or so kits...at one point in time, I had over 2500.Shock [:O]

Trouble is...most of them are ships, which almost always equates to big boxes.

Wow, I didn't know the FSM editors would have such a large stash! 2500 at one point, now 600? Did you build them all? Hey, if Jeff & Matt ever run out of space you guys can give some of them away as FSM sweepstakes prizes! Wink [;)] So you can write off the cost as business expenses too!Big Smile [:D]

Most of my collection was thinned out long before I ventured out to Wisconsin. I came to the realization that I would never be able to build half of them, and with all the new releases coming out every month, I had to thin the collection, I really had no choice. Several local hobby shops had me on speed-dial for vintage and hard-to-find kits, so that helped too. As it is, the movers in NJ are faced with about 60 boxes of kits, most of which are the standard 24x24x36 moving boxes. That's okay though, they don't weigh much...wait until they get to the 30 or so boxes of books!

HOLLY CRAP! That’s a lot of kits, I thought 100 was a lot, I'm going to have to adjust my expectations!

P.S. If you build 12 a year, you have enough to last 183 years!

my stash has +/- 80 aircraft kits and a handfull of others types, like soldiers/tanks/maintenance equipment.
I have got a full listing on my website

http://m.1asphost.com/svankreijl/rgrob/index.html

The site is under construction, so don't expect much.

Oh, before I forget, I have to update, since I bought two more kits (a 1/48 rufe and a 1/72 leo. 30) after completing this list.
At a build rate of 5 a year, this stash should be good for a solid 15 years. So I might even build them all! (I'm 25)

Hmmm, that's more than I thought I had. Though I do not have an amount as impressive as the aforementioned ones, still I'm surprised to have about 45 still wayting in the box. All are to be build. SOme less likely very quick. For instance that horrible matchbox Alpha jet, that now lies beneath the better Fujimi kit. The latter attracts more than the first.
My stash is located at the same site as Remco's stash
<a href="http://m.1asphost.com/svankreijl/rgrob/index.html" target="_blank">http://m.1asphost.com/svankreijl/svankreijl/index.html</a>
At the moment I'm buildign seven simultaniously. One is just about finished though, so with five minutes work, we're back to six.
