1) Schumacher's F-1 Ferrari, Tamiya kit 1/20 scale, loved doing this kit, it turned out great, I display it in a case, which I normally don't do, but I am quite proud of this one.
2) Italeri 1/35 M998 Hummer with the tow launcher, I work at the actual Humvee assembly plant so I decided to build little versions of all the different configurations we build in real life, I have several other Hummer kits but this is the only one I have built so far.
3) During the summer I went through a box of built kits that were pretty smashed up from moving, this included several aircraft, a couple of hot rods, a Harley, terminator Cyberdyne T-800, a couple of the Imex knights and several armor pieces, some were beyond repair but I did manage to save many of them, most of the parts were still there, so I spent some time cleaning and repairing these guys, many kits built in the past were noticeably missing, I don't know what happened to them.
4) Built my first ever diorama, it is of an old Wells Fargo stagecoach kit, I created some desert scenery complete with cactuses and rocks and stuff, I think it turned out real well for my first attempt, and the unusual subject matter was cool too,
5) Revell '64 Impala Lowrider, I decided I was going to super-detail this car, pulling out all the stops and experiment with everything I had ever read about detailing cars, I ordered photo-etched details, plug wires, engine hoses, after market gold spoked rims, added speakers to the rear deck, used aluminum tubing for scratchbuilt exhaust, fabric interior, glass finish and you name it.
After spending a couple of months on this I wanted to do something that I could build more quickly and actually complete in reasonable time, (I spent more time planning and brainstorming than actual building on this Impala) therefore the lowrider has been put on hold, although it is over 50% complete, the other 50% will have to wait, should be awesome if I ever finish it.
6) Academy's 1/35 M12 155mm Self propelled gun, just finished this one up last week.
It doesn't really seem like a lot, but I have other hobbies too, so I guess it was an okay year, I like to take my time when I build anyways, plus I worked more overtime this year than I ever have in my life.
Just started Trumpeter's 1/35 SA-2 Missile on transport trailer, looks like this one will last well into the first quarter of 2005.
