Yeah, this is a zombie thread, but it seems like a good concept to revive! But there is a thread like this on another site where I'm active, so let's bring this one back to life...

So midweek I did a marathon airbrushing session in the afternoon. The main purpose was to get the base color down for my M47’s power pack area, but I figured since I was airbrushing, why not do some other things as well. After our last Zoom meeting where I pulled out the Pro Modeler WWII airfield accessories kit, I decided to finish up the base painting on the items needing that, plus some Jerry cans and POL drums from the Tamiya accessories set that I purchased awhile back, as well as some more modern ESCI stuff.

Luftwaffe service cart, bomb cart, POL drums & Jerry cans... still need to do detail painting and such on most items

RAF starter cart and fuel cart

USAAF Clarktor tugs & bomb carts

ESCI Ford tractor, MJ-1 loader, bomb cart and aircraft tow bar

I think that it will be fun to weather them all to show all the work that they do on the flight line and ramp areas.

Yes, it's all 1/48 stuff Bish. And these "catch all" type threads are enjoyable. It was funny going back to see my first post in here from years ago. I've actually finished most of the builds that I listed as sidelined from back then. But not quite all...Embarrassed

I would have missed the thread first time round, i wasn't building in 2007, i didn't get back into it and the forum until the following year. I like these threads as well, you get to see a good mix.

I'm just finishing a Meng model of the 1/35 Panther ausf A.  I'm at the Zimmerit stage now, I will be using their decals, otherwise OTB.  Just for fun, I'm also doing a Hasegawa Bf-109 G 14, 1/48 scale, also OTB.  I'm back in the grove of building again after a 2 month status of off and on modeling.

Trying to finish my modified Native Dancer scoiut vehicle, my Moon landing diorama kit I'm naming, Huston, we have a problem (You will see why when it's finished.), and my Starduster space scaft from the Space Amgel series.  I might also try to get my Battletech Timber Wolf from clan Blood Spirit. All trying to get done for Modelpalooza this October.  Busy times in the garage.

Made a litle easier since I haven't had a job since last March.

As a teacher, I don’t get a lot of bench time. My USS Arizona is still in dry dock and I’m still in the process of masking the deck to paint the hull and superstructure along with all the molded in fittings, etc... My 1/72 Airfix P-40 is painted and awaiting decals, final fitting out, and weathering. It’s too cold in my shop right now. Might get some time by the weekend.
