Kiel, Wisconsin

We’re loving this Ferrari-themed Star Wars speeder bike! Steven built the original AMT/Ertl kit out of the box then finished it in Tamiya primer and hardware red spray paint and detailed it with Tamiya and Testors bottle paints. He made the visor different with Bare-Metal foil and  clear red and blue Tamiya paints. The decals came from his stash and a Ferrari sheet purchased on eBay. The base is 2-inch-thick pink foam insulation. Steven sprayed it with a solvent primer straight from the can for the rough, melted texture. He then followed with a few light coats of non-reactive spray paint and dry-brushed with model acrylic paints. Very cool!
