  Looking super.                                 knox

Thanks

Its been a bit since I worked on this big bird . Work was super busy , slowing down a tad .

I started on the tail gate ..
The tail gate when I glue that down , Will it went south in a bad way . No photo . The super glue stuck instant . I had the photo etch in the wrong direction .. So I peeled it off . The photo etch wrinkled A tad . I did get it glues down . There is rough areas. I'm going make this tail gate looked good and used ..

Enjoy

This is a basic rack . I will primer , then paint with  enamel black

You can see my two Alclad bottles . That be the pale gold and chrome ..

I finished my paint rack yesterday .. I'm going let paint cure for few days before installing this to the wall ..

I use oil base enamel paint , Sprayed this outside with HVLP gun ..

I used scrap wood , only the peg board was new

Below is my tailgate that I mess up . I glued photo etch upside down .I removed the photo etch , the part wrinkled . I did not have another replacement part . I glued it back down in the correct direction .

Now I went and built a skid that will hold cases of sodas and water bottles . This will sit on the gate .

Skid not finished yet .

Enjoy

I mocked up my exhaust too see what it look like .. Not bad ..

If you look one way it looks more gold , different way more jet exhaust or more black . Sure has a candy paint look ..

I got couple things to do . Then glue this one exhaust into place . Then glue the fuselage together
Enjoy

Continued great work!  The exhaust pipe work sounds hard, but I like the way they turned out.

Thank you

My build , there is a interior build first .
Then the wall , ceiling and floor gets glued to exterior fuselage .
Ok

i think , my glue ( Tamiya Glue ) migrate to two areas . Those areas, the glue settled . Then caused this little but a set back problem

The areas are very soft very soft ..

photo below

What do I do . I e mail Nigel a freind for advice .His advice , is to let it sit tell the glue cures out . Not to touch or do any repairs .

A big thank you again NIgel my friend

This is why I wished there was a model group here for low skill people like me . .I'm getting there .

Enjoy
