The 5th Reunion of Guns A Go-Go was held this past Thursday thru Sunday, at the Holiday Inn/Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama.     It was highlighted by the attendance of A/4/160th SOAR......   here's the first two of them I ran into outside the hotel lobby......  LOOK AT THEIR SHOULDER PATCH! Shock [:O] Wink [;)] Big Smile [:D]

____

Attending were the Unit Commander, XO, and the Flight Engineers of the nine aircraft they will draw later on this year, to participate in the official "Guns A Go-Go" Namesake & Unit Logo transfer ceremony at the Banquet on Saturday evening.     Here they are standing by "Easy Money"....

Below, the first Commander of "Guns A Go-Go", Col. Bill Tedesco, shakes the hand of the current "Guns A Go-Go" Commander, Cpt. Jeff Siino...

The past and the present, pose along side one of the "Night Stalkers" MH-47G's....

Here's the shirts the 160th brought and handed out to all the Go-Go Vets & their Families! Thumbs Up [tup]

Great news.  Good to see the ol' Skull flying again.  I'm sure they will carry the name on proudly.

Both of my platoon Sgt's served in the 160th.  I had heard rumors about a new "guns a go-go", but i didnt believe it till now. great to see it lives on.

Frank,

Great news!  I'm sure all of the former Guns A Go-Go were standing a foot taller at the Reunion.  Coincidently the former Unit members of the174th AHC were making a "CA" into "LZ Ft. Walton Beach" for our Annual Reunion the same weekend!  It was another great time with about 85 folks attending of which 47 were Veterans of the Unit.  I'm sure you guys were in "hog" heaven know the tradition you established so long ago will be carried on by the next generation.  Great looking T-shirts too!

Clear Left!
