Gotta get permission from Shep... Copyrighted, ya know..

That's gonna be a problem. Actually I liked the squirrel bar, it was just the type.

I've got 12 figures built, not painted. 1 StuG 90% built, not painted. No other pre-existing elements.

Can I join? I need motivation.

Welll..... It's ok with me IF it's ok with the majority of the build-members.. (There will be a 5-point (out of 100 total) penalty asessed for a late entry if your joining up flies with the members. I gotta keep it fair to the others who joined before the cut-off date, since there're prizes involved...)

Whatta ya think, men? It's your contest...

I have a better badge I think everyone will agree on!

I searched up "Dioramas" on google images, and made a collage.

Here it is!

Here it is as a signature size:

Probably, but I've submitted an inquiry (through channels) to seek permission from him anyway.. No promises though...

One, are those all your model photos, or is their still a copyright issue?

Two, can you change the font color for a higher contrast? White, or maybe a dull yellow shade?

Unless you have upped the prize to like a million dollars Smile I have no issues.

Hi guys

I have send a message to Mr Paine through Facebook asking permission (I have say that other member of the group has contacted him, and I was sending the message as a backup)

I think i´ts ok if Steve join the group.

And my subject will be the construction of a bunker in the Atlantic Wall.

Good modelling!

Hans,

Uhm.... maybe he can fill in my spot....?

Might have been a bit overzealous with committing to this contest... Looking at what i am planning for the coming year it might get really tight to get a "shep paine book winning" standard diorama running from the assembly line....Embarrassed

So, with sincere apologies to all the participants and our gracious host but i am afraid i have to pull out of this one after all.

Yeah fine by me! But I agree, progress pics or bust!

As for my project, I think I'm gonna go with a 1/35 Huey and figure dio, but I'm still hazy on the specifics.

Hans, any chance I join? I was overseas (as a tourist, not military deployment  Smile ) and did not see your post. I have never built a dio and could use some motivation, knowledge etc.

Thanks...
