Wanted to stop in and say hello....  Wish I could have joined but just too much going on .....  But I did say I would be lurking about.....

Some great ideas flowing....   can't wait to see some of them in WIP / pic-form.

Welll..... It's ok with me IF it's ok with the majority of the build-members.. (There will be a 5-point (out of 100 total) penalty asessed for a late entry if your joining up flies with the members. I gotta keep it fair to the others who joined before the cut-off date, since there're prizes involved...)

That's gonna be a problem. Actually I liked the squirrel bar, it was just the type.

 

Probably, but I've submitted an inquiry (through channels) to seek permission from him anyway.. No promises though...

One, are those all your model photos, or is their still a copyright issue?

Two, can you change the font color for a higher contrast? White, or maybe a dull yellow shade?

Hans I looked them up on google images, no they are not mine, so I am not sure if there is a cpoyright issue and yes I can cahnge the color when I get back from school today.

Yeah let him, in. Need someone to post a wip pic, I volunteer the new guy especially since my *ahem* supposed *cough cough* wip pic that i was going to post last weekend turned into a pile of unrecognizable goo. Oh well back to the drawing board

Might have been a bit overzealous with committing to this contest... Looking at what i am planning for the coming year it might get really tight to get a "shep paine book winning" standard diorama running from the assembly line....

So, with sincere apologies to all the participants and our gracious host but i am afraid i have to pull out of this one after all.

As for my project, I think I'm gonna go with a 1/35 Huey and figure dio, but I'm still hazy on the specifics.

Hans, mine will be WWII, Eastern front, base 16" x 20" / 320 sq".

Hans, any chance I join? I was overseas (as a tourist, not military deployment   ) and did not see your post. I have never built a dio and could use some motivation, knowledge etc.
