Sorry to afend people with political correctness al the time,as for the coments ofsome brown and some green vegitation you ought to actually have a walk in european countryside in the winter there are a lot of evergreen bushes that stay green all year round. But it seems to me thata lot of people want to pic faults in other peoples work and are very competative ,which is not the reason i make models, imake them as an enjoyable hobby. Seems this site is a bit too competative for me thus i wont be adding any more work, thanks Andy |

OH, now,...c'mon, Andy. That's no spirit to bring to a post where you clearly state "Let me know what you think" That sounds like a clear invitation for commentary and criticisms to help you gain other perspectives and considerations that you may have missed. We're all guilty of being so fixated on the visions in our minds that we sometimes completely overlook things that might appear incongruous or even sometimes, I dare say, ridiculous! I have been somewhat chagrined, and surprised at some of the things I myself have "missed" in some of my dio's that the sharp eyes of my fellow modelers have picked out--and I'm a better modeler for it!
You just concurred with me about breaking the post in half to provide more harmony with the emergence of the tank and its imposing gun. You explained your reasons for the crewman. I concurred and admitted you were correct; it was my misperception. That's the way it's supposed to work. Where's the foul?
As far as your comment about "political correctness"?? I see none whatsoever here. Nor do I see anythng whatsoever about "brown and green vegetation"?? If that arrived via Private Message, you should have taken that up with the messenger.
But perhaps it would serve your expectations better to not post ant more work. It would, after all, protect you from any more comments which do not meet your expectations? I, for one, would find that sad, as your work is really very, very good and your loss would be a loss to the site and the fine modelers here who were only doing and responding in the manner which you had originaly requested. We would ask for, and expect, the same.
