Yeah, he's a bit on the Metrosexual side, lol.. Thnk they were trying for an aristocratic "Prussian" look, but blew it...  He is, however, useful for a base figure for some "makeover" work... I'm workin' him right now to get him looking like the "Wounded Stachel" from The Blue Max, right after he crash-landed his burning Phalz after saving Von Richtoffen's arse... I'm doing a forced perspective shadow box for the "Hollywood at War" group build... The 1/28th "Stachel" in front, with the Eduard 1/48th Phalz D III in the middle, and the 1/72 Dr1 from the Monogram "Red Baron" car kit in the rear, flying away after the "wing-waggle" fly-over of the crash site while Stachel mouths the classic, "You son of a b*tch.." at Der Rote Kampfflieger...Big Smile [:D]

Another cool idea from the Hammerworks!  Any pics yet, or are you keeping it under wraps for now?

I have him in "Pre-op" right now, the Phalz is on the bench at about 15%, and the Dr1 is at 80%... I lost his right arm so I'm held up a bit until my new 1/28th Dr1 arrives...  I'm working, a bit at a time, making stencils for the lozenge camo for Stachel's Phalz...

Reckon I could post a couple pics later today, when I get to the home terminal..

"Hammerworks", eh?  I like that... Consider it stolen, lol..

Well I got a few more of the old Revell Gems out!  If you haven't checked out Summit's  Sean's P-40 you are missing a real gem!  It is looking terrific the things he has done to that old classic!

The Figure discussion kinda interested me. Looking at some of the old kits they are split doen the middle in the same way but are actually different. Some even look the part.

So when do we get to see the Hammerworks premier? Mischief [:-,]Laugh [(-D]Thumbs Up [tup]

Depends on when I get to a particular build.. I've got about 30 projects goin' on with no real rhyme or reason or organization...  I've only finished TWO in the last 8 months, none are aircraft...  Guess I shouldn't have taken that ten years off..
