Hey, thanks, guys!   Well, tomorrow AM I'm finally getting my eyes fixed via lasik surgery- whoo-hoo!   I'm blind as a bat- I haven't seen clearly since I was just a little child.   Wish me luck!

I doubt if I'll be up to any modeling this weekend, so please be patient.  ;D

I keep considering the laser surgery option. (Yep, I was one of the kids with thick glasses in grade 3!)  But I've seen too much Star Wars/Star Trek over the years to trust my eyes to a laser!!! Good luck, Chuck!

Thanks you, fellas!  My peepers are now 20/25- and expected to improve as I heal.   Words fail to express what I am experiencing!   I keep reaching for my glasses first thing in the morning- lol!   I've given them to charity.   :)

My wife is away for a few days, and that means I'm doggy daddy to Andi, but I still should get in some work on the 388- cheers!

The name's 'Daddydog'!  At least that's what the 'kids' call me.    Well, except for the ones who call me 'Hey stupid, bring us some catfood!'

Congrats on the successful eye work.  Having anything done to my eyes would make me so nervous I'd be sick to my stomach.  When I was younger, I could see _anything_ with the unaided eye.  Now I build kits under eyeglasses AND magnifying visors.  I could imagine how cool it would be to have 'young' eyes again.

Glad to see your surgery went okay! My late father was always nearsighted and could see next to nothing without his glasses and my brother's eyes are even worse.

Guys, thanks a bunch!   Life has, with its ups and downs, been keeping me pretty busy as of late.   I've made some progress on the 388- the lower canopies are on and the main is cut out and ready for final fitting.  The escape hatch is also cut free- and will show off all those dang doo-dads in the 'pit.  Fitting that lower front canopy took a good half-day all by itself.  

The "free" time I've had lately has been spent on the model, not the updates, which take a good three hours each.  The next one will be full of fun, though, so stay tuned.  Again, my thanks!

It's been a while- my life has been busy, with some ups and downs.  I'm still at it- and I'll get that canopy done, by gum!
