Great build!   The engine in particular is awesome.

On the nose, what was your technique for the wear?

Also, what did you use to create the grain on the propeller?

"Hello boys, I'm baaack!"

Except for a couple little tiny bits my entry into "The Great War" GB is ready to take to the air... er... shelf.

This is the Wingnut Wings Albatros D.Va.  WOW what a great kit.  All of them are this good from what I here.  Great detail, full color instruction book with ref photos. And you have heard of "Tamiya fit" well the new standard will soon be "WNW fit".

Had an absolute blast building this. Hmmm?  Same type of fun when I started doing armor and was pulled to the dark side.Whistling

As great a kit as it is there is always some fun things to add.  The highlight, for me anyway, was the engine.  18 plastic parts in the box turned in to about 160 with all the nuts and bolts, wires and connectors, springs and caps etc.  Here is a A LINK to a group of WIP pics.

Rigging is 0.5 mm brass tubing with Uni thread for fly tying.  Same tubing used to make the spark plug and magneto connectors.

Thanks for looking.
