I've finished two models Trumpeter. The Me 109 G6 1/24 and the Me 109 F4 1/32. I'm building two more models. The SBD Dauntless and the Me 109 E3. All parts fit well, almost did not need to use putty, and have very good details. The only defect of the Trumpeter is the accuracy of their models. But like a lot of models from Trumpeter.

Because "Ridiculously Over-Priced" was already taken...Stick out tongue

Super build though...   Can't tell the painted markings from the decals, which is no mean feat...  I think I would've taken some "artistic license" though, and built it with lighter greys in the cockpit...  It comes off in the photos as rather dark in there, hiding what must be a LOT of super-detail work...

I've got a 1/24th P-40 that I'm wanting to tackle... But working in such a large scale means a REALLY BIG diorama too.... With LOTS of greeblies showing and a couple of mechanics shoulders-deep in her innards...

A WW2 fighter in THAT scale just begs for a diorama...  (Hint, hint Wink)

I dunno ah, the engine looks sort of un-detailed tbh, the Tamyia Spitfire in 1/32 seems a lot more "bitsy" really.. maybe just the ME's engine..?

Holy cow, that is one fine 109; it would make mincemeat of any La-5, etc. attempting to cause it harm! Warmest regards and thanks for the great pics.
