I read somewhere that the tractor was made by a subsidiary of English Electric..........if so , not exactly the ideal PR photo

The early VTOL trials didn't go well for the RAF!
And yes, T 34, it was for real, sometime in the early sixties, if memory serves.
Anyone got pictures of the RAF Phantom crashing with the radome open?, there's always some smart alec with a camera...
