Too bad Hasegawa or Tamiya hasn't produced one.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I'd like to give a twin Mustang a try one day, although I here they are buggers for fit issues. Godd luck with it, I'll be following.

Years ago I read that the 82 has less then a 20% part commonality with the 51. I forget the exact amount. But there was a page that listed the part number matches.

Thats an interesting stat, Wikipedia mentions somewhat the same sentiments.

Yoshi that's a really nice kit. Your decal sheets has the SAC one with the blue tail on black.

back when I built it I had to paint the blue and add stars.

You painted that design, WOW!  That's the variant I want to do.

And we're looking forward to your next project, Toshi.  Cold Stone's good, but a little too thick for my taste.

Thats the first time I had Cold Stone.  It was a bit too rich, I agree! This is an interesting build at 1:72.  My first.

To my fellow forum members,

I just had to have this, first off it's a great segway from a unique aircraft from the Donier Do335 Phiel (Arrow) into the F-82G (A F-82G WHAT?  I've never heard of it, although I've read about the Twin Mustang.) Twin Mustang.

Second, after viewing everything at Hobby Lobby, that was the most interesting build there.  Third, I've never ever made a 1:72 model kit.

Our evening started out with taking Mrs. Toshi out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse.  We both dined on some really delicious well prepared Prime Rib.  Then right across the commons was of course Hobby Lobby and next door was Stone Cold Ice Cream, this was a great way to end our dinner date.  Once home I immediately started my ubiquitous photo shoot.  As always this will be followed by a step by step build.  Thank you for everything forum members.
