To modelcrazy,

No way, you're crazy!  LOL!  Pun intended.  You've been building a lot longer than I have and I am only now feeling confortable with building and assembling model kits as a whole.

I've been drawing inspiration from your Tamiya 1:32 P-51 Mustang!

Wow! Wonderful Toshi. You have surpassed my talents (which isn't that hard)

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Here is what's been done on this beautiful day in Streetsboro, Ohio.  Although cold, the sun has been shining, Mrs. Toshi, the love of my life, and the three cats get to spend time with me today.  I'm so happy!  What's even greater is the fact that I get to build my model kits surrounded by loved ones.

I leave the forums for a week and Toshi is on page 2 of yet another build.  Wow.  And your cockpit WIP is pretty impressive to boot!

If I had your quick-build skills I wouldnt be staring at the boxes cluttering my hobby room wondering what to do.

allan, you continue to honor me here on the FSM Forums.  I'm speechless.

Toshi,  really nice job on your ip.  I don't comment as much as I should, but I always try to follow your builds.  You just keep getting better.

I hope you know that you are pretty much a one man group build.  We may have to ask FSM to create a category just for your workBig Smile

I also think it's great what you're doing with some of your models. Just keep building please. It's fun being a " Toshi groupy".                 knox

Just by you following my builds, I am most honored sir!  A one man GB LOL!  Thank you so much for the read, reply, support, and being my first groupy!

Mighty nice work Toshi, great job on the IP, your construction and finish abilities are first rate. I still say you'll be ready for an entry at an IPMS convention very soon, great job so far.

Patrick

Wow, a IPMS convention?  Thank you for the motivation!

Your skills continue to improve with each build. Really nice work on that pit. This one will be your best yet, I can feel it.

BrandonK, thank you very very much!  Without your support and from members of FSM, my builds would not have excelled to this point!

Thank you modelcrazy, my first Tamiya 1:32 Corsair was a challenge.  This build is as well, the only differentiation is that I have the older Corsair build to utilize as a template.  Thank you for the read and reply!

To my fellow forum members,

The cockpit is slowly taking shape.  This time around, I'm thinking of a possible clean build in-flight on the Tamiya stand, just like my previous build, the P-51 Silver Edition "Silver Surfer".  But we shall see.  Until then I only have a very, very small progress report below.

I've been giving my nephew a couple of planes (P-47 & F6F) he like it so much, he want's to build one.  I told his mom to by a snaptite. A few more went to my therapists as a thank you.  I'll be donating a small batch of models to the local VFW.  I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

Good for you!

Nice to see you giving it another go. I do like the Corsair and I know your going to make a great job of these one. But where the hell are you putting all these big kits.

LOL!  I have a stand that holds up to eight 1:32 aircraft.  I've been giving my nephew a couple of planes (P-47 & F6F) he like it so much, he want's to build one.  I told his mom to by a snaptite.
