My putty and sanding skills improved dramatically getting part #13 to blend.
I grew a lot with that build. I'm looking forward to doing another.
I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Being I'm a p-40 nut I stocked up on the p-40 kits I could find. after geting back in the hobby after a 20+ yr break. To to only find out there all crap. Bummer I should of did my home work. I'll still build them.
I just read here about the p-40 airfix that's on its way so that's rite up my ally.

All I can say is that new Airfix P-40 better have a working radio and landing lights that switch on and off to live up to the hype!
On a similar note, what is the concencus on the shade of blue in Revell-Monogram's US insignia? It always seemed a bit light to me.
