Thanks everyone. You are all very kind.
Britt, indeed I do, I just started the Revell 1/32nd scale Bf109 G-6 with a pantsload of extras. This will be my first 1/32 scale kit......oh the pressure! I'll start a thread soon.
This is insanely good. I love it. Another great job! I was droolingover it in my email update at work.

lawdog114 Thanks for the compliment, but I'm an average modeler with a few tricks.......that's all.
You are way .....way too humble Joe. Your build looks really good. Great paint and weathering.

1943Mike Average, baloney! Beautiful job! I love the paint, weathering, diorama, ... the whole shebang. Someday, when I grow up, I want to be able to build a 1/48 scale WWII aircraft with half the craftsmanship that your model displays. Mike

She's a real beauty, Joe.
Thanks for posting this WIP, this aircraft caught my eye a couple years back (hadn't known it existed) and it is great fun to be able to see yours from start to finish.
Splinter schemes are sort of boring (at least mine have been so far!!), but the way you've done this with the pre and post and streaking and shading made the splinter scheme come to life like I've never seen before.
Well done.

Joe - She's a dandy, mighty fine job you made of it. Thanks for the post and photos, interesting thing that airplane was. Have to wonder just how it may have performed if it saw service, but glad it didn't.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Mighty fine work, Joe. You really inspire me to do better.

That is just beautiful. I'm glad you put a figure next to the plane to show just how big it is. Thank you for sharing. It was a fun wip. Has anyone every mentioned that you are a very talented modeler

Nice work! Paintwork looks subtle and to scale. Well done!
Kind regards-

She's a beauty. Glad to hear the decals are of a decent quality. I was about to order a set of aftermarket decals for my 335 but I think I'll save my money for another endeavor.

Thanks all, I finished her up the other night and I'm pretty happy with it. To recap, its the B-2 heavily armed version with a pair of MK. 103 cannons in the wings. They made two, that being V-13 and V-14. I built V-14 whose markings were one of the kit options. I added PE seatbelts and Quickboost exhausts. I ended up tossing the True Details wheels and I used the kit wheels, which just looked better to me. I gambled and used the kit decals. Surprisingly they behaved beautifully. Maybe Tamiya has been given a bad rap and their newer stuff is better. I didn't chance the large lower crosses however and decided to replace them with an old Me 110 sheet I had.
Thanks for following.....comments are welcome.
Joe
Lawdog,
Looking superb. I do like the subtle effects that the streaking gives your finish. Will have to try that sometime soon.
Thanks for sharing.
Greta job on the scheme there. Nice to see Gunze are another compan that have not switched to the green RLM 81. I do like that brown version.
