Welcome to the bench Hunter. I'm so glad you are giving this a whirl- the old man would be delighted.

You have picked a really nice kit. It won't fight back, goes together like a dream.

I'm sure she will like "T-T-T!"

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Good to see you starting a build, and well done for doing a WiP on it. I think a lot of people find that daunting if they are new or been out of the hobby for a while. Your off to a good start.

But i think the first thing you need to do is inform Mrs Anderson that there are more important things than dinner and a movie. Wink

Just make sure she doesn't hear you when you say it. Big Smile

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Hello everyone,

Well the time has finally arrived for me to get my first build underway. I will be building the 1:48th Tamiya Japanese A6M5/5a Zero Fighter (zeke). I have only built one model prior to this one and it was 17 years ago. So I am doing this WIP to gain your tips, advice and any and all comments. I am truely looking forward to this, and will listen to what is being posted here so that I start to gain the fundamentls and techniques to fully enjoy this hobby.

Thank you for looking, and please post your thoughts, tips, advice or what you see that I missed or made a mistake on.

AND THE FUN BEGINS:

I got to this point and Mrs. Anderson informed me I was taking her out for dinner and a movie...will get back at it when we get home. Definitely need to work on my photo taking skills. Thanks again for looking
