Yes they went on very well.
I use MM light gray often. I doesn't show on photos but, it has a very nice contrast to the naked eye!
By the way, a fantastic job so far! Can't wait for it's final debut.

Well she is done and i am pleased with the results.Good kit but there are issues with the intake trunks that cause the wings not to fit properly.I found an article in the April 2011 FSM that explains why this happens;turns out Monogram made the intake splitter too tall causing the fit issues.(wish i would have found the article sooner).Here are some outdoor shots.

Of course I don't think you could get any shorter wings than the F-104.

That would be me, philo, thanks for the nice comment.
The light blue was a pain because that color does not work well with the ALPS printer. As I recall I painted a white background on decal paper and then masked off for the blue and sprayed it, then applied the decal to the model. I was disinclined to paint the marking on the model because of the intricacy of the white border. Doing it as a decal gave me the opportunity to easily redo it if I didn't like the result with risk of making a mess on the model itself.
