I'll say you're getting the hang of it alright. Those are simply fantastic. I have to admit, I like seeing those engines together best.
Top notch stuff, Bish!

Great job on all!
I wonder about the German aircraft industry during WWII a lot. With more time (Allied bombers making it nearly impossible toward the end of '44 and in '45 for German aircraft production to continue on a meaningful level) they might have developed such air superiority that they could have made some headway slowing down Allied bombing. At least they might have postponed the end of the war which, in my opinion, would have been the worst possible outcome.
Such innovative thinking and design though!

Thank Mike.
The problem for the Germans was not production, it increased as the war went on. It was a lack of pilots and fuel. Thats why they built aircraft like the 162 intended to be flown by Hitler Youth who's only training was in a simulator. A lot of Bf 109's, more of which were built than any other aircraft in history, never left the ground.
Great job Bish. They all look fantastic. Glad you kept the weathering to a minimal. I was reading that most of these Salamanders only got as little as 16 hours of actual combat use.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Thanks PJ. I can well believe that. Only entering service in mid April, so probably only had 3 weeks before it was all over. It only had about a 30 min flight time and given fuel issues and everything else, its surprising they got in the air at all.
Have your decals arrived yet.

Sorry Mike, seem to have missed your post.
Thanks. I do like those engines. the company has a third, a Packard merlin, which modelcrazy built last year. Just a pity they have not done any more.
Yes Bish finally got them in yesterday so they will go on very soon.
Thats good news, now just have to wait for the kit ones to re-appear. Looking forward to seeing yours done.
