I think I have that fixed now. Not sure what happened there.
Retired and living the dream!
Wildcat? Maybe. Corsair? Definitely!
I also can not see the images.
Mopar Madness I like it! If your frustrated with these vintage kits, maybe buy a newer Tamiya kit as a confidence builder. They go together without much fuss.

Thank you! More frustrated with myself than with the kit, but I am learning with each build, and I am actually feeling encouraged. Next kit has an actual engine and some cockpit detail, so that will be new. Thanks for the encouragement. Hmm....a Tamiya model. Well, I don't have a Wildcat. Every collection should have a Wildcat, right?
tempestjohhny, Piper and Chemteacher, thanks for the postive feedback!
On the bench: Revell-USS Arizona; Airfix P-51D in 1/72
It looks great!

At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
Seems like I have been working on this forever. I am calling this done. I stalled for a long time worrying about getting the correct degree cant to the landing gear. In the end, I still didn't get it right. This is my second aircraft completion, and is much better than the first, although I made numerous mistakes. I kept hearing about how important dry fitting is, but putting this together brought that home. I ended up with more than one step to deal with.
Still, I am not unhappy with the final result. The mottling and masking the yellow fuselage band went well. I am encouarged to keep trying, and hopefully some of the lessons learned will stick. On to the 1/48 Fujimi A6M2 Zero. Another "vintage" kit.
So, here it is...
Thanks for looking. Comments welcome. I would like to get better. The pic from above got some reflection. That is not a crack in the canopy.
PS I used my Iphone with Google Photos to post. Pretty easy overall. And free.
